The quality of the videos is amazing! Not sure if I missed this but did you ever try a setup with a Logitech G29 or something similar?
ОтветитьGreat video and overview of RSS!
Ответитьmeu sonho um simulador desse nivel
ОтветитьI have a gt omega Titan cockpit and all I need is a direct drive wheel and decent pedals to replace my Logitech g29 and I’ll be happy.
Ps, you have the dream set up 🥳
Oh yes, I deff need a monitor and mount for it because I’m currently using 48inch lg tv 😂
It works good enough for now.
Just at the right time. I'm currently planning my Sim rig and so many products/brands make the decision difficult.
ОтветитьAlso try and not mismatch gear like a 20Nm wheelbase with a desk or a folding rig.
ОтветитьDid your laptimes improve with using a active pedal set from simcube?
ОтветитьGreat video! Question the triple screen rig you have what is the overall dimensions (Length/ Width) of the space it takes up? Thank you, just trying to make sure I have enough room for mine before I start buying.
ОтветитьAwesome video, already a pro! That was quick. Lol
ОтветитьNone of those... get VRS they r best bang for buck
ОтветитьIs that a coffee spill on your left sock? I have those all the time 😂
ОтветитьLord this video is comprehensive. really good.
ОтветитьWonder if you could review the PRO SIMRIG PSR3. its great but hardly any reviews. I've just put mine together, best bang per buck for the money. great pedal tray.
Ответитьabsolutly love you branding yourself and creating your website!! I'll definitely be checking it out!! you go girl!!
ОтветитьTook a gamble on the Simjack UT-P3-H3 pedals. I had 0 faith, but I absolutely LOVE them. You can get this loadcell pedal set with hydraulic rods for below 200$/€ for 3 pedals, which is crazy...
It was not a budget choice, just curiosity, and I'm very happy I did. The cheaper option does not need to be the budget or lesser performance option, it can also just be the better option.
Everything You Need To Know:
Step 1. Be Rich
great video. Im looking to move to sim after being on controller since ps1
ОтветитьGreat overview and breakdown!
Off topic, there's something that's not quite right with the new side cam talking head shot. Maybe it's just the framing? There's a lot of empty space to the right, whereas your main cam shot is a lot more visually interesting with all the rigs in the background.
Love how there are so many options when building your rig. Also how it can be so unique to each person!
ОтветитьSo much info in one video! Great job on this, I bookmarked it for when the time comes for me to buy my own proper setup :))
ОтветитьGreat job SIMplifying Sim Racing!!
ОтветитьAdditional considerations:
1. Do you like or shudder at the idea of tweaking wheel settings?
2. Do you want to play flight simulators as well?
Love your videos... I try to watch them all... Might have a chance to say hello in person at the SimGamingExpo!!! SEE you there!!!
ОтветитьIf I only race @45% in-game FFB strength on my Moza R9....would you think I am som weak guy?
ОтветитьI've spent $1,400 for my R9, Moza GS wheel, Fanatec Clubsport V3, Sparco Seat, tube steel rig, few transducers+amp...but I drive my Mazdaspeed 3 , which I just paid $500 for Firestone Indy 500 tires. That always hit me in the wallet!
ОтветитьWhat about VNM bases?
ОтветитьI’ll be checking out the website, Sarah! Here in England I live near a large sim racing dealer. They have many rigs set up with the various wheels, bases and pedals. I ended up going from a Logitech G923 straight to a Simucube 2 Pro. That blew my mind!
ОтветитьWhy are VNM bases not in readysimsetup? Quite possibly the BEST on the market right now.
Ответитьso what I take away from this video; it's expensive, cleavage and hotpants. damn my brain is simple. was looking for inspiration for upgrading my G29 wheel btw, probably will be the moza
ОтветитьThrustmaster???? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
ОтветитьI love u😂
ОтветитьMe on my plywood and wood scrap rig with a hand me down monitor and a Pxn99 ($180) wheel pedal and shifter set having an absolute blast. I can’t wait to upgrade to some low level stuff but I am having a great time.
ОтветитьYes you can use your Fanatec wheel in other platforms , with the adapter from SRM (sim race machines), it is and emulator with usb cable and you can attach your qr from any manufacturer
ОтветитьGreat video, very informative.
Ответить"If you are on a tight budget like below $5000", I honestly cracked up, my budget was close to 500... I almost spilled all my coffee! ahahahahah Jokes a part though. This hobbie is damn expensive. I was looking into pedals and a new base and I am at about $2500... I feel poor....
ОтветитьHiya Sarah, hope you are well. That’s a great video. Very informative and that website for configuring a setup is great! Didn’t know that existed. I’ve finally just completed my sim rig setup with triples. I took your advice on a previous video about getting a separate monitor stand so there are no vibrations, it works a treat. Now to get stuck into simming! Take care.
ОтветитьI advocate GT style aluminum rig even if you drive formulas. The formula position is uncomfortable and it's hard to have the monitor optimally aligned on it.
ОтветитьGreat summary. It’s amazing the number of options out there - so it’s hard to even think about where to start making a video like this. Really well done, and love the RSS shoutout. 🤘🏻
ОтветитьMy question is how do carve out the space and time, I had an ok setup once, I was missing the chair though so I just used a house chair. It was amazing but after I put away the gear I never set it up again. It's critical to have a dedicated space and it seems like to me you have to start with a chair and commit to using the space and the hardware in the space for ONLY sim racing. If you setup a temporary setup in your living room or in a room that you also use for watching movies or playing games or something else, its not going to work out and its only going to be temporary. The only way I am going to do it again is A) commit to a space B) only use the space for sim racing, NOTHING ELSE, C) start with a seat because without it, its just going something temporary. 🤔
ОтветитьAs someone who built their full fanatec setup 4 or 5 years ago I would not recommend going with them if you're building a rig today. Fanatec hasn't shown enough that they are growing with the industry and Corsair hasn't shown after purchasing them that they plan on developing some next level stuff. Moza is better for entry level gear, Simagic is better for middle to upper middle level gear, and simucube is better for high end stuff. I will drive my DD2 into the ground but once it breaks I'm not going back.
ОтветитьPerfect video, i will send it to some of my friends that are interested in starting Simracing!
ОтветитьI kept it simple. Logitech G Pro with the Logitech Thropy rig. ❤ it.
ОтветитьI made my own rig out of wood on a CNC. i dont like alu :D
great video :) RRS is cool side. didnt know about it.
Please do more iRacing videos where you chase an iRating. They were great
