New 2023 Lexus RX Full Review: Redesigned and Better than Before

My 2005 RX looked more elegant and luxurious inside and out! Ready to buy a new RX but not crazy about it’s looks!

This is going to take a while to get used to. Looks wise, It’s an acquired taste.

They can only deliver the car with one key fob due to a chip shortage.
Ask the dealer if they can deliver the car with 2 keys before buying.
If the answer is no. Leave!
Trying to get the 2nd key 3 months later and going through the process is a nightmare.
The Dealers are clueless on how to do it or don't freaking care.
No second key? Buy simething else or wait.

These things are incredibly reliable. My family bought a 2006 Lexus RX in late 2005 with 7 miles and yesterday it rolled past 196k. 5k oil changes, along with regular maintenance really makes this thing a beast.

Not a fan of the 4 cylinder turbo & not a fan of it requiring premium fuel. Also has too many annoying audible alerts while you’re driving.

2nd generation is still the most beautiful It went downhill from there if you ask me.

The back end looks horrible. Maybe the non-sport models look nicer?

I have to strongly disagree with Doug and all the other car reviewers on YT. I don’t think these touch screens are all that great and I still think the old remote touch system worked OK. But I would prefer physical buttons if at all possible and still don’t understand what you need a screen for. For navigation, I still use my phone.

I really love the evolved grill…. The f sport even looks much better

I was very interested in this suv, but after seeing how weird the infotainment system is (not being able to show multiple apps at once and not having a normal 360 backup camera with different angles). Crossing this off my list. Terrible design. Beautiful Car, but a failure for the infotainment system which is significantly important in a car. The infotainment in my Genesis G70 is by far the easier and most intuitive system I have ever used in my life. The is RX overcomplicated way too much

The 2018 model is far superior. Lexus ruined the RX with that piece of crap turbo 4.

Imagine buying a land rover over a lexus based on these scores when they can't even stay on the road for 11 out of 12 months.

Was lucky enough to get a 2008 RX and I love it so much that it will always be a model I consider in the future.

Lexus cars are really pretty.
They also last 30+ years if maintained well.

The next tech improvement is just incorporate a front and rear camera which videotapes while you are driving and stored in a 5T solid state drive memory. This way we can all see car accidents and can tell who is at fault.

Is there always something projected onto the windshield? like driver assist? bec that's incredibly distracting!

The biggest issue is the lack of headroom in the back.

The mouse system on the old models worked just fine and imo its much better than reaching out to the screen and start looking for stuff while you can just control it using the mouse without moving an inch!

Gotta disagree this time Doug. The 2017-22 grille looks better to me. Love the sharp aggressive creases. And this model rides like a Rav 4. Doesn't have the level of NVH, Lexus is known for.
