To lose a war is the tradition upheld, don't make war make Japanese food and cheap entertainment shows
ОтветитьWhen you say unsure things question yourself to make them unsure so others don't question sureness of your words
ОтветитьThe bun has been penetrated with a hole in one. Dried soup no more mammal soup glands.
ОтветитьSurvivors of the kmt army changed their accent, the differentiated effect of a losing side, change the accent to be the loser
ОтветитьWhen you lose a war change your accent, so they don't know you lost the war

I miss Taipei. Food was good. No way I will stand in line for the soy milk. For good BBQ here in the US, I will stand for 4-5hrs.
ОтветитьTaiwan $Dollars$ okay.
ОтветитьYour choice of breakfast shop is 永和豆漿大王👍😋. 捷運大安站
No. 102 , Sec. 2, Fuxing S Rd, Da’an District, Taipei
( check opening time !)
We were in Taipei 2 weeks ago. I really miss everything in Taiwan. Hope to be back again.
Always love the food, the kindness of the people & the vibes.❤😊
Well done! Taipei was my home for 3 wonderful years…..your vid made me homesick!
ОтветитьNice reviewed food. However your camera is unstisfied ms. ❤ From jakarta, 🇮🇩
ОтветитьTwo hours is a long wait! I wanted to try a highly recommended udon restaurant in Tokyo and they had a great system where you get a ticket at a kiosk in front and you can leave and come back, all the while tracking your number on a website on your phone, so you're not glued for hours in front. It actually took about 3 hours and I was one of the last people in line when I went back, as the cutoff was reached shortly after I got my ticket. It was worth it!
Ответить😎❤️🇹🇼🚴🏽‼️
ОтветитьSoup dumplings are really delicious!
ОтветитьJust stay at TPE airport. Only missing night market street eats and breakfast.
Ответить🥰🥰🥰🌹🌹🌹🌹💐💐💐💐🦋🦋🦋❤️❤️💋💋💋💋🇹🇼🇹🇼😍😍😍🇹🇼🇹🇼
ОтветитьI'm travelling to Taipei in May and got a heap of tips from this video. Cheers for sharing, love your content
ОтветитьThanks for making and sharing! Great video!
ОтветитьI don't queue for food either. It seems normal in places like Singapore, Tokyo, Taiwan to queue up for the most famous food place but you can walk around the corner and get same food with no queue.
ОтветитьGreat video Janice! With the Michelin Star, Fu Hang gets a lot of hype, so the line up is crazy!! Their signature thick bread is something not everyone makes, so it is worth a try if you can get up early to avoid the line. I'd only go when I'm jet-lagged and is up at 5-6am. The Yong He Soy Milk King was my neighborhood joint growing up, and honestly, there are a few other similar breakfast joints, they are all very very good. Trust me, you didn't miss much when you decided to get out of that 2-hour line.
ОтветитьNeed real foods, not plast!c.😅
ОтветитьSuper super …. Very informative Video with a lot of super’s 🤣😂
ОтветитьCan't wait to go to Taipei and try some of these! I'm definitely with you on the not waiting two hours for food. That is 2222 LONG!
ОтветитьFu Hang is the best Chinese brekkie in town, but I agree: two hours is too long to wait. Cheers, Guy
ОтветитьPS The Tang Bao place process sounds like a pain in the butt. Why can't they do first come first served?
Ответитьit's not chrysanthemum syrup on the shave ice. it's osmanthus syrup.
Ответитьits a national treasure to line up in Taiwan lol
ОтветитьLOL the soy milk line. I remember there's a simiar long line in downtown San Francisco selling Chinese traditional cakes. It's like waiting for new iPhones.
ОтветитьJanice, your complete food listing and locations will be my goto list when i am in Taipei soon. TQ ...much appreciated❤❤❤
ОтветитьThis was our food bible while we were in Taipei. Thank you so much for the map links and for the easy cut/paste xiao long bao menu!!!
ОтветитьMost of the time, the highly rated eateries by the media is 80% disappointing for me. I travel widely and have been all over Asia. I literally give up tracking down these overrated eateries only to roast them after trying their fare. Not worth your time to queue. The food I truly enjoy most are the ones I sniff out myself by chance. I go with my gut instincts. 😅😂
ОтветитьFor the love of god stop recommending people that beef noodle. :(
ОтветитьI really appreciate you being yourself, Janice. Your personality and passion comes out in each video. In other videos, I always see a person with a ton of makeup on and their faces look just perfect with hair well coiffed.
Ответить❤ Perfect. Agree with you. Next month visit Taiwan. From Boise Idaho usa
Ответить❤ the address where
ОтветитьI lived there 15 yrs. That pepper cake huzhou bing or whatever isn't even that good. I love those but that franchise is over priced and not very good. It used to annoy me when people would constantly recommend it because their little uncle told them. My fave was in xinyi district. Way better. $35 nt
ОтветитьWhat kind of accent is that??
ОтветитьJanice, I'm glad you did this Taiwan food tour. Short, but
managed 7 spots.
I wouldn't wait 2 hours for that soy milk breakfast either
What month was this filmed?
Ответитьyeah beef noodles are probably our first go-to dish when we go to Taiwan
ОтветитьWatching a lot of videos about Taiwan particularly Taipei for my short trip soon. Like you, seeing the food makes me so happy. And I am very excited to eat these food! They look so delicious and comforting!
ОтветитьInteresting...is it expensive 🎉❤
ОтветитьFirst timer. Thank you for putting in the translations for the dumpling restaurant. That was SO kind of you!!❤. Thank you for your reviews!
ОтветитьHi. So the process is: fill out the paper menu, find a seat, then pay for the food?
ОтветитьJanice is super beautiful !!
ОтветитьI don't care for their beef stew taste, Vietnamese bun bo is the bomb that no Asian cuisine can match, among others.
ОтветитьFu Hang does a great job for typical breakie food out there, but there are so many similar spots that do a great job scattered throughout Taipei it's not worth the line up. Just make sure to grab breakie early so you don't get you tiao that's been double fried from warming up the leftovers from the morning rush.
ОтветитьHaving been to both Fuhang and Yong he within the last week, Fuhang is a level above Yong He. Fuhang's savory soy milk is more flavorful compared to Yong He. Fuhang is worth the wait.
ОтветитьIt's Seems That Many Of These Places Can Be Overwhelming For 1st Timers In Taipei, And Also, Slightly Pretentious With The Ordering Requirements.😟 Thank, You For A Very Insightful Video!👍
