I love storms. Currently, where I live, there's a thunderstorm warning with hail and strong winds. It's gonna last for a couple of days. We just had a storm that uprooted some trees and produced significant hail. I'm listening to this, hoping for more beautiful storms to show up. These are minor storms, with minimal damage, so it's safe to say, we want more of these.

It’s a sleepless night for me greeting from nevada.

I used to be scared of thunder and my Mom would come into my room, scoop me up and put me in her bed then fall back to sleep holding me tight in her arms. I like the sound now because it keeps taking me back when Mom held me tight. She still sometimes rubs my back or strokes my hair. I do remember one loud crack of thunder by a lightning strike in the backyard, I ran to Mom who was also running to me with open arms. Her hugs are always soothing to me because she knows how tight I like them to help my anxiety.

I grew up in the Midwest, in a rural town right behind a cornfield. As a kid, I got to experience this kind of beautiful weather all the time, and I miss it so much! This video really brought back those memories.
It took me a long time to find a video where the thunder 🌩️ was louder than the rain.
