Fun fact: in rdr1, John Marston’s death was inspired by a real life event during the American Wild West. The infamous outlaw was called Bill Doolin,who was shot by a shotgun after firing,there were 20 officers outside a barn in the 1890s where the incident took place. Marston and Doolin were both 38 years old when their deaths happened.

Great video, as always! But one thing that would've been better would be the mentioning of the Aztec gold actually being the Aztec mask from Undead Nightmare. The actual map to the treasure is supposed to be the catacombs underneath Escalera.

There’s a lot of little abandoned sites in RDR1 like that where John will start making comments like “Wonder what happened here.”

Guess Rockstar loves that scene from The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly for them to reference it in both games. Hosea mentions it as well when talking about his past a bit at a campfire interaction.

Apart from the Stillwater Creek camp, I did not know of any of the others. Then again now that I think back, I never spent much time in-game listening to the campers in Mexico and the ones I did spoke more about the battles in-game involving Reyes, Allende, etc.
