Swords of Northshire custom red katana.

SON states that this blade is folded 13 times, and has over 8,000 layers. Once it’s been sharpened, the blade is then etched with an oxidation process to imbue its surface with the black and red hues.

This sword was actually given to me as a gift several years ago in 2017. I did the test cut in 2020 and just now have gotten around to posting the video.

It is a visually stunning sword with the unique red coloring and grain pattern in the steel. It proved to be a very effective cutter. The edge is wicked sharp.
