مستند «مهمان قاهره» (مراسم تشييع جنازه شاه) از مجموعه مستندهای شبکه من و تو، با استفاده از تصاویری که تاکنون دیده نشده‌اند، به داستان درگذشت محمدرضا پهلوی در قاهره، پایتخت مصر می‌پردازد.
پادشاهی که پس از تبعید از وطن، از سوی اکثر دوستان و متحدانش طرد شده بود.
در این میان، انور سادات، رئیس‌جمهوری مصر، تنها کسی بود که حاضر نشد دوستی خود با شاه را فدای منافع و معاملات سیاسی کند.
سادات در شرایطی که هیچ‌کس حاضر به پذیرش شاه بیمار نبود، به او و خانواده‌اش پناه داد و مجرب‌ترین پزشکان مصری را برای درمان او مأمور کرد.
پس از مرگ محمدرضا شاه، انور سادات با برگزاری مراسمی رسمی و باشکوه، ارزش‌های دوستی خود با پادشاه ایران را به نمایش گذاشت.
