Rick Joyner Wants to See Mike Bickle's "Full Restoration"

How can you be forgiven for something you won't own up to?

Mike raised up a playpen for himself and disgraced the body of Christ.

Messed up? Take a while to trust him? He's been abusing students for years! Good grief! He may be restored to God, but shouldn't be restored to any leadership position. But God's will be done.

There is no reason to be mad at Rick Joyner for hoping and praying for Mike Bickle’s restoration so long as that restoration includes true repentance. Don't cut off the branch you sit on. “If you do not forgive your brother, your heavenly father will not forgive you.” Remember that Paul killed Christians before he became the beloved Apostle. And while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. How much more does He loves us when we are fallen children? So long as Mike truly repents, I am all for his restoration.

Very sad to still see the patriarchy in the church in the 21st century. This is why so many males are not being accountable for actions on se**al a*s*ault and abuse.

The Church is the ONE place where what we preach should be actioned by those preaching the message! But where men are concerned every excuse under the sun. MB needs to be charged and be held fully accountable, let alone restoration. He should not be in another pulpit again.

We cannot and should not accept this in the Church and Ministry anymore. Let's name it for what it is. It is predominantly men committing these acts, yes enabled by some women who support them, but it must be called out for what it is. Then other men protecting and enabling these ministers.

The Church has been a male dominated environment for years, and if women speak up about anything like this they are ignored, sidelined, or made to feel like they are the ones in the wrong...

While I've never been abused (just for the record), I've spent 30 years counselling many women through this. - Stats are realistically 1 in 3 women are sa'd. (Many are not reported) these stats are from my experience in dealing with this. - What is being uncovered in the Church is frightening to say the least, but God is surely turning the tables.

The gifts mean nothing if there is no depth of character and ethical behaviour...what price is MB paying?? Nothing! This man is nuts sorry...you can't restore a person that has barely acknowledged his wrongdoing and only when he is caught! Restoration doesn't mean the person should be put back to where they were...I'm stunned...

Church God is exposing so we can all create boundaries and separate ourselves so these “ ministers can repent and humble themselves”!!! Church as we know it will change. No pastor , prophet, or whatever should be making money off the gospel and be the focus of a ministry. Church should be a place that takes care of the communities that surround them. Pastors are to be humble servants and as the ppl of God we will feel compelled by God to help take care of our pastors. Not manipulated by pastors to make them rich and help them create businesses instead of churches!!!

Bickle's time is definitely up. His good work does not make him special in any way. His behavior makes him ineligible for any future use. Other's will take up his mantle, but not him. He was the one that made himself unusable.

I agree with him. People will fall short. My life and love for Jesus is a direct result of Mike Bickle and IHOP. I’m don’t know how I feel about Mike going back into ministry… but I thank God for him

Mike Bickle never quit the ministry. He has a wealth of money coming in from Real Estate that he and his wife are holders of. The IHOP KC social justice center that is in downtown Kansas City is run by his sister and her grown son and they have given Mike Bickle a platform to preach and teach there. He's never stepped down from the ministry except at the main Church where he was forced out of. There has been no repentance on his part. No transparency, no accountability, only denial denial denial.

If it were a one mistake with Bickel, I maybe could consider it, BUT, it was a multi decade pattern of inappropriate behavior…Rick you are just wrong on this!

Dude, you sidestep the pattern of manipulation, sexual exploitation, and cover-up because of the impact of “the IHOP ministry”. He is not a great person. He is a predator. You do not address the abuse of the victims, but focus on the need for him to be back in ministry. He screwed up, ruined his reputation, and destroyed credibility. Repent, be restored, and find a regular job. As far as ministry, you never owned the abuse you perpetrated. Devote your life to honesty and repenting not only to God but your victims. Joyner you sound like a guy who has skeletons in your closet.

As a man who wrote and sold SO MANY BOOKS, Rick Joyner is used to being listened to and honored. It hasn't started to sink in that he has been disgraced and dishonored, and it is different this time. Even though all of the Nar, and the Nar related, and the Nar connected community are all on red alert to promote each other on their billion dollar networks, there is a growing community of people who are done with this BS.

The couple, in the Bible (Acts 5:1-11), who held back some of their offering to the church that they promised to give to, and the husband fell dead first, then his wife fell dead. That's just one example of GOD's punishment against those whose hearts are not right before Him. When people truly repent, their lives are restored. Bickle and others around him covered up his sin.

What is wrong with these people? Joyner hyped Todd Bentley after Bentley even went on to justify his adultery on the basis of David sinning with Bathsheba "being a man after God's own heart"... and now he hypes up Bickle? Why must these personality cults continue? Do they just shut down one franchise and then open another elsewhere... each trying to convince me that they sell the better burger and to demand my customer loyality? "God is not the box" None are expressions of "the kingdom of God" all are great expressions instead of the rule, realm and reign of men. Where is the evidence of the rule, realm and reign of God in them? "The gospel of the kingdom" or of their own kingdom only? We need a renewed emphasis on the rule, realm and reign of God in Christians, individually and as they meet and that clergy-laity caste system needs to be abolished to the degree where so-called leaders allow room for The Body to minister and all meet the Lord and be animated by Him when they gather. Some which to be biblical in doctrine. A big part of this problem is the nearly universal system that is not biblical in practise. And that is where the spiritual abuse begins. The Body is muted weekly. Where is the logic and critical thinking in the church? They seek after spiritual gifts (one more than another) but the gift of discernment is never practised - never allowed to be exercised? I notice that many feelers gravitate to the charismatic groups and exhibit an "outer locus of control" (rather than an inward one)... everything is outward.... and likewise they are EASILY manipulated. Pyramid schemes with one at the top? Where is The Body fully functioning (1 Cor. 12-14/ Eph.4)

At some point people need to ask themselves is THIS an evolution of things or a mutation? These Neo-charismatics trace themselves back to the Charismatics and Pentecostals and Azusa. What happened in the upper room in the days preceding Pentecost? No instead they focus on hype and noise and activity and OUTWARDNESS... with little or no INWARD work. They speak of an assumed sanctification (by faith?) that is never applied. And then they go on to crash into immorality. They are not rooted nor are those who follow after them. Today more than 100 years later few would even entertain the possibility that the stage hypnotist stands behind the pulpit. (By the way in the NT Jesus and the apostles would often visit non-local synagogues and make use of their open mic policy where "two or three could speak and the others judge'. And now it is nearly universally the case be they liturgical and formal or contemporary that only ONE speaks as The Mouth and in the role of perpetual ADULT whereas all others are the homogenous EAR and are doomed and are incrementally trained to be the forever DEPENDENT children. This system is NOT biblical in practise!!

Obviously this seemingly nice man is suffering from a severe case of preacher religion syndrome. I do not say this with the intention of being rude. However I fail to understand the love bombing compliments he is throwing out concerning Mike in light of what has been made known.
Mike has truly not taken responsibility let alone expressing deep repentance.
So my question to this nice man would be how is restoration supposed to happen without Mike’s acceptance of grievous behavior? Perhaps restoration to this man would mean simply placing Mike back in position to further fleece & SA the flock at will. 🙄🫤🙃😳🥲
