Are there tarantulas in Puerto Rico or just normal big spiders?

When Linda jumped that was awesome! I wasn’t expecting there to be enough of a shadow for her to detect and let alone detect that it was prey! I don’t think she sensed vibrations I think she just sensed the shadows. Since they have simple eyes they can only detect light and shadow.... it WAS an awesome take down though!

Hey I have a question bud, how do you stop the web from sticking to the front of the enclosures/doors. Like can you use a natural oil or something? I would assume that once they initially web up the enclosure that would include the door, so when you next open it for feeding it would pull at the web and screw it up or cause stress for the spiders yeah? Legit question from australia. We have annoying import laws so sadly I only have access to Aussie stuff. Otherwise my house would look like yours. I have an Ethmostigmus rubripes(nickname a blue meany here) named bobby John but thats it at the moment.

I love you man. The spiders creep me out every time. Also, I don't think I could do it; I always feel badly for the bugs. There is always a little voice in the back of my head that is screaming "this is not ok", even though it's no different than anything else in life.
