Im a somewhat new collector looking to get the whole council. So a new plo koon is perfect. Im not an ewok fan so no ucs village is great. Hoping for a jedi temple mbs/ucs set

The UCS Slave 1 is a day one buy for me

The guy that designed the original UCS Slave 1 is one of the best designers to have ever worked for LEGO. Seems like he quit the Star Wars team because the guy kept getting beat up by the community for calling the UCS Gunship an OT set, which was a mistake due to English not being his first language. He confirmed this as a response to a comment I made on a video by Solid Brix Studios or Eurobricks. I forget which.

It is common for those of us that learned English second or third to make this mistake. I made this same mistake for years.

In any case, this is what happens when morons literally beat up the best designer on the Star Wars team. Hopefully the new guy doing Jango's Slave 1 can learn from Hans' technique. Though I'll tell you, designers (of anything) like to make things their own. The new designer is not going to want to copy Hans. So I do not expect the Jango Slave 1 to be better.

The ewok village would go perfectly with the ewok tho,I hope it’s wrong. It would be perfect for the master builders series sets ,since the Mos Eisley Cantina is going this year, and it would just be a perfect play set
