Ngl I think an open world rpg would amazing for the Avatar series mmorpg would also be good but for me personally I would love to play a single player Avatar open world rpg

Its not cannon even if it is officially, because this lore were made for this game specifically and cannot serve entertaining purpose in other media (like films or shows) or the whole universe would be a mess with necessary information that you need to learn from every product that changes this universe to enjoy a new product - its just complicated and unnecessary to make it cannon logically

With how fast the franchise is expanding, I think Avatarverse needs to have a hierarchical continuity structure similar to Star Wars before 2014. That is, movies and TV shows are at the top, comics and novels in the middle, video games and board games just below that and then there's joke content like Avatar Chibis and novelty books like pop up books that are non-canon.
So basically, something established in a comic, novel or video game is canon unless a movie or TV show says otherwise. It may not be the most desirable structure, but it's the best way to solve continuity errors that are bound to happen in a franchise that grows bigger every year.

I really wonder how would they integrate Korra's era in the game as her storyline doesn't rely on the journey around the world the way Aang's or Kyoshi's does.

I think it’d be really cool to see all the wars Wan fought in after defeating Vaatu, eventually leading to his death. Wan is one of my favorite avatars and this could be both a meaningful addition to his arc and an opportunity for some epic battles.

The one Point that that bothers is the Gameplay.
It´s like everything is awsome, but than i need to play the lame battle mechanic.
