Though her piano skills bring much beauty to her interpretation of the piece, her trill-like pitch bending really detracts from an otherwise warm and rich sound making this song very hard to enjoy. I prefer the original Judy Collins version.

Her voice is PERFECTION! It captures a time of unrest and change experienced in The States that strikes a note of pain and truth.

Didn't know this......it and she are exquisitely beautiful. I have loved her music since the 60's....... no one like her then, not now, not ever. Thank you so much for posting this. Nina.... a goddess of music..... all those who loved you miss you.

Beautiful ! Rather faithful to Judy Collins' interpretations with a " rind " of Nina Simone's own personality. As good as Judy singing (so well) Jacques Brel's songs. Judy has certainly been proud & happy to hear Nina sing her song. Great thanks, indeed !
