For some like me, Sukuna's conclusion was perfect. The final Ch provided more depth to his character rather than leaving it as an outright 'blank' villain. My problem is all the loose ends left by the ending... Clan dynamics, the whole JJK world dynamic, Kenjaku / Geto ? or is it just Takaba reminiscing in his mind?, Maki - she committed mass slaughter.. Won't she face any repercussions?.... and other plot points...

Sukuna's ideology is "strongest takes all" And "take what you want. By hook or by crook" The only reason sukuna changed after death was after he LOST to yuji. Even in death, sukuna only accepted someone's ideals who was someone who actually brought him down. The methods doesn't matter. Similar to how gojo lost to sukuna. It doesn't matter weather other think he cheated or not. As long as you win you're strong. As long as you're strong, you're right.

Sukuna was/is my favorite JJK character. At one point I honestly wanted to see him win, then fight “Tengen Godzilla” obviously it wasn’t gonna happen but man “Attack on Sukuna” was such a ride.

Garbage writing aside, in the end, gojos philosophy triumphed over Sukuna’s. Sukunas flawed from the beginning with the whole mentality that he wins with his own strength and needs nobody because he relied on Megumi and his ct the 10 shadows as a way to help him with his fight against Gojo. Gojo believed in having allies and friends to help one another because no matter how strong you are you can never do things alone. Sukuna’s mindset was dumb and flawed from the beginning while gojos was the right way for a person to live.

I dont think the ending ruined his character, i think it could have worked but the series ended before we got the context for it to be a satisfying ending. We needed something like a heian era flashback to give us sukunas origins for the ending we got to make sense.

Just a correction, Sukuna is NOT a vengeful cursed spirit, and did not “become the king of curses, a vengeful cursed spirit after his death”. He is a cursed object. He split his soul into 20 pieces and placed them into his fingers, think like Voldemorts Horcruxes (horcruxi?? Horcruxs? Horcruxies???) the process is unknown and it’s speculated Kenjaku taught him how or assisted him since he knew him and since Kenjaku has shown the ability to do this to many sorcerers. Sukuna is the same as all of the incarnated sorcerers in the Culling Game, like Angel or Kashimo.
