There is still a lot of assistance available from the relief bills but the states are sitting on the money and not getting it out to people. In addition, most of the states have their own programs for helping people with housing. California certainly does, lots of them. You can't evict anyone in CA anyways. They could burn down the whole house and you still can't evict them.

It was never supposed to be permanent and when in February were we in a COVID surge? What did all these people do with the free rent money they got? Wasn’t it supposed to go to the rentees once received?
