i have pneumonia right now in my lobe. i cant event stop coughing. i cough up blood.

I’m 59 years old thought I was in good health, until 3 weeks ago. I went to bed on a Wednesday night feeling a little tired otherwise normal, woke up Thursday morning throwing up blood, went to the rest room and my urine was of blood, very weak couldn’t lift my head rushed to the ER via Ambulance in excruciating paid, diagnosis pneumonia stage 4. The pain was overwhelming, the Nashua I’ve never felt so miserable in my entire life. I spent 9 days in critical care and I was still in pain like an 7 when they were discharging me. The first 4 days at home was all in bed and 😢 in pain.

I had Pneumonia last December 2024 and it lasted for almost a month, I went in and out of our Public Hospital and to some Private one's. I took a lot of antibiotics, dissolving medication and so many more. My Pneumonia was so sudden, I didn't even smoke nor drink. When my Pneumonia started manifesting on my Right Lungs everytime I breath, I feel like I was being stabbed and it f**kn hurts 😭 I also kept crying because I can't breath properly and even when I cough I felt like my chest was pricked by a thousand needles.


And I Thank God and the Medication I have tooked that time.

Can someone please explain to me why people with pneumonia have stomach pain?

I had pneumonia when I was 10 or 11 and I would have constant migraines and I could physically hear my heartbeat and it made me so irritated and moody because of how annoyed I was. My best friend later texted me asking if I was okay and at that time, I did not know it was deadly. I got some better at this point but I have asthma so it took me over a month and a half to fully recover. I did nebulizer treatments and I noticed that when I get sick now I feel a lot worse and it’s always harder to breathe. Also around that time I was at the doctor three times that week one for pneumonia, the common cold, and then I later had three ear infections, the same month or in the next two months.(I can’t really remember).

I have pneumonia now 💀 but it's not severe so we're good.

I’m pretty sure my grandmother on my step dad’s side had pneumonia right before she passed on. I think she passed from a broken heart from losing my grandfather a few years previous to that. The last thing I remember her saying was “I don’t know what I’m going to do” she already had her fair share of health problems, like diabetes.

What pneumonia feels like...thick layers of mucus covering your airways that it is difficult to breathe. No air in and out of the nose and mouth. You won't feel good until you actually burp, fastest way is to drink gassy drink.

Just discharged from hospital for 2nd time in a month.. asthma/Pneumonia was my diagnosis.
Paramedics were concerned my systolic was 40 and must thank them, the ER & the wonderful respiratory team and nursing staff for helping me become stable enough to continue healing at home.
Fatigue was my first clue... just thought i needed B12 supplements and continued to believe my regiment for asthma would get me through. Boy! Was I wrong!
Mom mentality said I can't be sick...
I'm attached to oxygen now & still have Prednisone & Moxifloxacin to finish; along with my usual asthma regiment.
This really scared me. I have breathing exercises...an oximeter to check my #'s. Once i can stay in the mid 90's I can get off this oxygen leash.
Prayers to all who ever have to know the fear of not breathing.
My family seems to think I'm home now & I should be fine.

When I was 2, i got pneumonia. I didn't think I'd live. I was born with asthma, only making things worse from there. With lot's of medical attention, i am still here to this day. I am so grateful for those doctors. I don't know where I'd be now without them.

I just got out of the hospital on Dec 18 th, I was in there for eight days with double phuenmonia, caused by influenza A, it was not pleasant, believe me, I had a stent put in my brain from an aneurysm about a year and a half ago and that was a piece of cake compared to this, only one night in hospital and that was mainly to be watched overnight, my husband was in the hospital for 14 days, same thing, but he almost died, he spent 4 nights in ICU, we are still recovering and weak as heck. They said a lot of it was going around and some stomach bug, hardly no covid cases.
