There are 2 things that I never could understand in talks about China: (1) China is evil by because it is increasing its military power; never mind that US has 800+ military bases in 70+ countries, it started over 3/4 of the wars since WWW2, it was responsible for pretty much all regime changes in the world since WWW2, it is the largest weapon exporter by a wiiiiiiiiide margin, it practically beat any country unwilling to be its puppet to submission (by actual war or threatening or sanction). (2) Chinese government is subsiding everything that China exports -- which makes me wonder, where does it get the money to subside everything, by borrowing from the US?

Had a tour of Xinjiang and Gansu province in the month September 2024, amazing development especially with renewable energies such as wind and solar. The one thing China doesn't want is another trade war with the U.S. but Trump is going to start one anyway, so they no longer have a reason not to invade Taiwan. Trump will likely applaud the bold move by his strong leader buddy Xi. He probably won't interfere.
