When the Jff turn away players that’s not a mistake that’s them doing there due diligence when do indeed select a player then that’s what you now call a mistake, why do you think they put a quota system in place on the youth team and not the national team , they using the overseas player to get us in big tournaments as quick fix that’ it , if they really wanted Jamaica teams to be dominant there would be quota system at youth level because it put a youth team that is full it oversea diasporas players that gets the time to develop and have a sync then the probability of those player transitioning into the national is highly likely because within 10 years they would have become better and the local players would have it more difficult to break into the national teams , at all level

I was very impressed with this youngsters' preseason playing but had no idea he had Jamaican roots. Very calm on the ball, something we need more of on the Jamaica team.

We are talking about JFF losing out on this player and others with potential. If he is as good as you say, this player will CHOOSE to play for England, not jamaica.
We seem to not realise that the only foreigners who play for jamaica are those who were rejected by the usa and england. The ones who CHOOSE to play for jamaica from the onset are those who never stood a chance of playing for the usa or England Cmon man. Lets be real.
As to the quota system, i have no problem with it up to the U20 level. We have to protect our young players similar to how the English FA protect their players with the various eligiblilty rules. If we are going to keep selecting foreigners we might as well tell our 15 and 16 year old to go play dandy shandy because they will never make Jamaicas team when they get older.
We forget that when we made the U17 and U20 WC it was with Jamaican born ballers.Withh the right system and attentio, we can do it again.
