Holden 304 5.0L V8 Beginning Of Engine Reassembly.

Cool little engine, can you slow down a bit so us guys in the States can see it? I never seen one of those over here before, what was that little gear under the timing chain?

It looks similar to a sbc but a bunch of differences for sure, interesting.

U got a Holden 304 lover here from the Netherlands i put my holden 304 in a euro car thats similair to a VK coupe more or less anyway i see ure rebuild or freshen up but i wonder u keep the welsh plugs in?

I hope u replace them as they are a horror to remove wenn engine is in car and now u have such easy acces for those 30-50$ i really would advice u swap them....

Hi mate new subscriber here i have a few Questions on your 304 Swap as i am wanting to do the same thing to my holden 6 cylinder 1999 Vs ute i was wandering if you could tell me if you are still using the V6 Battery side wiring the wiring harness that comes through the driver side fire wall for Cluster, Batter, BCM, Ect..!!! can you please tell me if it can be used or will it need to be pulled out and replaced with the V8 wiring harness for that side of things i realise that you would have to change the BCM if you kept the V6 harness in place any help would be great thanks and thanks for the Content thus far it has been very helpful.

Hello can you tell me where the crankshaft sensor is located on this moter please
