I started to use this technique a lot after I watched this video and after some training It was very helpful for me a allowed me to climb routes that were impossible for me before and in general, it made climbing way easier in many cases. But when I watch videos of the world's top climbers they don't use this technique very often. In most cases, I can see they are going for an inside edge, not outside. I noticed they are using this technique mostly for grabbing lateral holds or if they have to use sidepull Im curious why. Can some explain to me why they use it so seldom?
