Saw him in the mid 80s live at Victoria Park, Hackney. He was my idol. I had the jacket and the hair. Someone threw a bottle at him during that gig - and he caught it! That just confirmed in my mind that he was the coolest dude on the planet!

Spear of Destiny were the first band I ever saw in Leeds 1988. Really good memory. I was 15. I saw loads of bands in later years but your fist gig always stays with you. Loved every minute of it.

I was worried about seeing one of my heroes last year as TOH & SOD played a festival. Utterly fantastic again. He's still got it in spades!
