I worked at a hardware store in WillsPoint Texas, the owner was a real specimen there if you're familiar with the area. A swan's truck came in and had a problem so I went out to my Bronco and got my tools. Together we put the truck back together enough with the hardware they bought from the store for them to finish their route. The owner of the store fired me for helping them in not so many words and I went to work at a mechanic shop nearby for a lot better wages. The swan truck drivers heard about what happened and went out of their way to bring all their personal vehicles out to have me work on them. That Hardware store went out of business and I went on the work on and build some of the most influential aircraft in the world.
