S24 FE vs. A35: Samsung's "Cheap" Phones Compared! (Easy Choice)

the processor and camera is worth the extra money

On the hunt so I don't have to keep fighting for storage on my Note 8. I'm considering switching to Metro and the A35 is Free, while the S24 FE is $200. Both are 128gb, and it seems almost unreal that the cheaper phone has expandable storage. I don't know what the difference in performance will feel like, but that price and expandable storage is too good to pass up.

When it comes to performance the S24 FE destroys tge A35..I just bought one.

I use samsung a55 it's even closer to the flagship build and experience. Bezels aren't that big of a problem when you have a 6.6' amoled punch hole screen. You only focus on what's projecting out of a screen.

I'm playing the long game 7years of updates leaving prepaid phones, and upgrading to The FE,great video very well explained and illustration

2/25 and the fe is going for $499.00 at Best Buy & Amazon. Gonna get mine tomorrow. I checked it out already and the camera, something I use now and then works great ! The Dynamic Amoled Screen a plus also with 7 yrs of updates. With wireless charging you can't go wrong.

A35 is incredible! Those specs on the A35 were flagship only couple years ago.

I think im getting the 24fe simply bc my cars bluetooth system and stock apps. I don't have any social media tho the s24 untra us cool but......fe 500$ cheaper

The Samsung S series is too expensive, I just bought an A35; it does more than I need.

A35 color looks like washed out

I came from an A22 to the s24 FE and man the jump feels really nice. And I only had to pay 39 bucks switching to a family plan on Verizon 🥹

I went from an LG V60 to a Moto G stylus 2024, thinking it would be a drag. Love it. Hope it holds up. Got it for a song.

I just ordered an A35. I chose that over the s24fe mainly because of the expandable memory. and pretty much any phone will have a better camera than the phone i currently have and A35 still takes great pictues. the facet that it is so much cheaper and for me has more features i will actually use like expandable memory is important.

Got the a35, it's a great cheaper phone. 120hz 6,6 inch diagonal screen, 1000 nits (which isn't great but its not so bad outdoors either), OS support for over 3 years, security support for over 4 years, ip67, takes better photos than my previous s10, has better audio sound than my s10, and it cost me CAD$350. It's a good phone and I do recommend it for anyone that is looking for a cheaper phone.

Comparing an Exynos 1380 (A35) to the Exynos 2400e (S24FE) is a JOKE at best! The Exynos 2400e preforms between SD8 gen 3 and Gen2 levels, where the Exynos 1380 is way less than half that! Also, ANY 'A' series phones LACK AI, has SLOWER USB 2.1 speeds and a dismal GPU to boot! There are just too MANY things to list here that make the A35 a POS over a S24FE. Image processing, better cameras, AI, and extended support. Yes, MANY "say" the battery will never last the SEVEN years of support BUT, the battery replacement cost vs. a NEW phone is peanuts. If anyone who's ever used an 'S' series phone and then steps DOWN to an 'A' series, it's night and day difference that is unacceptable and just a SLOW, laggy experience with dismal performance. NO 'S' series user could ever settle with the dismal A35 myself included. You are comparing Apples to Oranges.

I have the s24 fe. And I love it. At least so far the two months I had it.

I preferred to buy the A55, which seems much more similar to the S24 FE.

FE costs doubled the price in our country with only 10℅ betterment 😂

For $186 USD (tax included and no trade in) through my Carrier, the S24 FE is a STEAL. I came from an S22 Ultra (which I sold now) as I enjoy the FE as much! With the money I saved, I bought a brand new Tab S9 for $350 USD (FB Marketplace, local business surplus).

The Snapdragon 778G in my Xcover6 Pro midrange is as powerful or a little more than the Exynos 1380.

Here in India either of these will work to redeem stolen gift cards.

I can't decide between S24FE 512Gb or base S24 256Gb. for $692, I could get a brand new S24FE or a used base S24

No wireless charging on the A35 is a deal breaker. I'm all in on wireless charging. But, it is a nice phone otherwise.

The A36 is supposed to be alot slimmer, that would help as the A35 is quite thick and bulky IMO. hopefully they stop using virtual proximity sensors, even the FE has virtual

I had a prepaid A14 64gb I bought at a dollar store that was a decent phone. Saw a sale Samsung was running for the S24FE with generous trade in values. Was given $200 for the A14 on trade so I made $130 on the trade. I ended up paying 476.99 all in for the phone and its a damn decent phone!

FE is currently $200 off at Best Buy.

I already have the A35 for a few months and I'm happy with it.

I am currently happily using my Samsung Galaxy A54 and have no interest in upgrading anytime soon. I think Samsung makes the best bang for the buck phones around. I will continue with their upper A line phones because I prioritize the boost in battery life and having microsd support. Powerful processors drain batteries quicker. I don’t need a super powerful processor as I don't play demanding games too. Samsung camera are always solid whether it be their flagship or midrange.

But you should also mention how laggy animations are despite having 120hz cause is terribly unoptimized
