Beware of Tricky Signs- First Flatirons Hike With Kids - Chautauqua Park Boulder Colorado

The First and Second Flatiron trail is a popular hiking trail in Boulder Colorado. Expect a lot of hikers with kids and animals. It's a Moderate hike for adults and challenging for small kids. We took our 6 and 4 year old and they did a great job. We had to go slower but that is to be expected. If you did both the first and second flatiron trail it's 3.6 miles out and back and you will gain 1,446ft to a total elevation. It's a great hike and I am looking forward to returning without kids.
