During my recent visit to the UK I spent some time with Mike from Bamford Rose and we had a 2006 Aston Martin DB9 Coupe with about 23,000 miles on it that was just beginning to show the signs of the dreaded V12 engine tick. This was a great opportunity for me to discuss the cause and how to discover if the engine is developing the issue. It's something you can do for your Aston and only takes about 10 minutes.
The car in this video went on to having its engine rebuilt to resolve the tick. If you are considering BUYING a V12 Aston Martin, this procedure should become standard fare and be posted by the seller as a continuous video showing the process from start to finish as I do here.
If you are in the UK you can always get in touch with Mike at Bamford Rose
