With Spence signing at Spurs, Doherty seems to be a quite dangerous pick... For 5.0, I' think I'd prefer to go for Trippier or Cash

Super draft - only concern is doherty. Infact except son and kane - everyone else is a massive rotation risk at spurs. I would avoid their defence. We can downgrade to tomiyasu at 4.5. And maybe upgrade Raya to a 5m keeper. Rest of the picks are super Dayvy bro!!

Prefer this to your previous draft, though not convinced that Doherty will be a regular starter.

I think that's a good draft. Only concern is Doherty, Mahrez and imo Bruno. Bruno won't keep up these numbers because he's a cdm and if Newcastle sign midfielders he won't be playing forward. Doherty because of Spence and Emerson and Mahrez for obvious reasons. I'd downgrade Doherty to Tomi and maybe tye 4m gk to Sanchez or even Raya to a 5m like Pope.

I have defaulted to a 4-4-2 from the beginning, big at the back, two premiums with one in midfield and the other forward. Then I watched your positional videos and I gotta ask: what about a 4-5-1 with 1 premium? It is not template, but this is my logic: 1 premium is salah. Then from there I am still big at the back and my forward is Jesus. This allows me to get a huge midfield with two 8.0 mids, grealish at 7.0 and Rashford at 6.5. I think Jesus and Rashford are going to make a mockery of their price and I also think grealish will get a lot more minutes because of both Sterling and Bernardo exiting. All of that changed my thinking as watching your videos confirmed two things: midfielders and defenders as always have more value so go big there. Also, Kane and Haaland are bigtime of course, but when they do not score that is why they cannot keep up with the 8.0 midfielders and above for value. Someone like Madison scored 181 last year to Kane's 192 and Kane played 800 more minutes... 8.0 vs 11.5. I understand filling positions but here is the question: Jesus leading the line in a 4-5-1: won't Grealish or rashford and any 8.0 outscore Kane or Haaland? I know the prices are not equal, yet that is not the point because if you go from Kane to Jesus and do a 4-5-1 you are fitting in an extra 8.0.

Spence has signed so doherty minutes at risk. He also played lwb because perisic isn't fit from an injury from inter. Reguilon got left at home so sess got the other 45mins. I'd stay clear of doherty tbh

i would pick haaland over kane and martinelli over guimares. besides that i go for mount as my 8.0 midfielder, basically because he is pretty much nailed.

Personally im going for Maddison in your 8 mill position, and Kane upfront, and probarbly switching to Haaland gm2

Personally I'd rather go for Trippier over Doherty. Trippier will be on set pieces plus the Newcastle defense was much improved in the second half of the season. They've even strengthened it even further.

I'm debating Robertson vs Diaz, if I go without Diaz I probably will pick Foden. I have Cash instead of Doherty in my draft he seems to be more nailed on and great value.

I would not be comfortable with Doherty, Bruno, Neto or Mahrez. I am not putting Haaland in my team because if he doesn’t return or only plays 60 or comes on at 60, his ownership will drop like stone and so will his price.Tottenham did not look good in their pre-season match. An own goal, a ridiculous penalty, a deflected free kick and a disgusting giveaway for 4 of their goals???? They didn’t create much against a much lesser team. I think Jesus will cover Haaland and therefore I am going 4-5-1

4.5 forward - Cam Archer mate. Us Villa fans rate him highly and if he doesn't go back out on loan this will be his break through season for Villa. He is unlikely to start but will definitely get game time. We have a motto for him... when he plays, he scores! Check out his England U21 record. Thank me later Davy!

Gayle has been forced to train with the under 23's and told to find another club so he's a no go . I think Archer from Aston Villa is a good bet. Seems to be abit of buzz about him.

I've gone with Martinelli and Tomiyasu. Regardless of fixtures I'm not sure I should put their attackers over Spurs and City. I've gone Kane and Haaland upfront for now, but if I was aware of Conte's preferred wingback going into the season then I may swap Kane out for Jesus. I'm too scared to leave Son/Kane or Haaland out.

As of today, I am thinking that I will stick with Kane for at least the first 6 GWs. Yes it defies the template, and conventional wisdom is to go with the template at the start to ensure you are not playing catch up for the rest of the season, but nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Also on Doherty, I just think with cancelo you could maybe do better with Someone significantly cheaper (atleast until the first WC) so I’d prefer Trippier for cancelo and a 2nd 8m mid for Bruno G, I like him a lot what a baller but they face literally almost all top Defences After Forrest, while in games like Brighton, wolves I can see CS for trippier

Bruno is a trap. He's a box-to-box, not a creative attacking midfielder. He performed way above his underlying stats end of last season.
