Ah what a great answer, more than the genre but the personality shining through the work, I guess its because when you enjoy a work like that it feels like a conversation between you and the creator.

Im so glad that not only Okami is back, but also Clover (now Clovers).

Clover were such a unique developer at the time, some of the most artistic and fun games of the PS2 and Gamecube era, even God Hand, messy as it might have been, there was so much passion in that, which we saw over the years at Platinum Games too.

Okami is so special to me though, its my favourite game of all time, and to this day one of the only games i can think of that blends art and gameplay together so seemlessly.

I cant wait to bring life back to trees, feed animals nuts and berries, bark at random NPCs, pee on enemies before blowing them up with a bomb, and all the new ideas and fun we'll see.
