Congratulations 🤝 Brother 💪Monte Carlo ☮️
Ответить2jz the rx7 and monte build!
ОтветитьNeed it in the monte!
ОтветитьIf it was my choice I will put that engine in the Monte Carlo for drag and drive events and sell the RX7 chassis if it won't get much use. Drag racing that RX7 will be very time consumming and very expensive and I don't think I'll work for you if you want to race on multiple disciplines. My 2 cents of course.
ОтветитьBuild the MC as a drag and drive!
ОтветитьMonte Carlo for sure
ОтветитьWill this be ready for this years christmas tree races? Looking forward to see where this goes!
As for the car to put it in, it kinda depends on what you want to do. Import vs domestic is not an option with the rx7, ask cooper.
I'd still put it in the rx7, build it with a purpose and make it fast.
Put it in the RX7
I think a cool build for the monte is an all stock appearing build with a traditional small block
I would use that engine set up for the SS there is much better engines for the rx7 to race depending what Times you looking for.. Me I would overbuild and keep everything on the down low.. Gives a person a few extra passes.. Drag car= Broken part's no matter what you do.. Cheaper overkill then tame down might be cheaper then full bore.. Anyway.. You know the cost's due to drifting cost a ton to keep up on maintenance and so on.
ОтветитьI think the monte carlo would be a better option and i think you would use it more. The RX7 is a good idea but you it the nail on the head. You already have the vette and it doent get used as often as you would like. The RX7 would be the same and paired with the vette then it would mean that you would less time for the vette then you do now.
I think you would love the challenge of making the monte carlo a really clean sleeper drag car and aim for the ultimate goal of a 9 sec 1/4 mile.
Thats what i think anyways
Id put the nice engine in the monte and make it a super clean street car ONLY if you planned on not keeping it original.
The racecar build go with your typical LS builds.
The racecar will get beat on more and have a higher risk of something happening. You can build two aluminum block budget LS engines and not have to sweat it.
If the monte stays kind of original than put the new engine in the RX-7.
Sell the RX7. Put that engine in the Monte and start building it. Turn the power up gradually. Will create a lot of build content plus drag n drive content and a new video every time you turn the power up
ОтветитьCan’t wait to see the drag race angle added. Way bigger audience for the drag deal than drifting.
ОтветитьId say put this in the RX7. Maybe an N/A or supercharged 427 in the monte.
ОтветитьMonte Carlo all the way
ОтветитьPut some 26’s on the Monte and put the new engine in it
ОтветитьMonte Carlo
ОтветитьDo both !
Ответитьmonte all day bro
Ответитьss with t56 6 speed
Ответитьplus the monte is your childhood why not enjoye it with lots power and fun
ОтветитьRx7 for this engine , keep the monte more of a street car IMO
ОтветитьLight wight chassis keep the engine light too k24 with boost is the way but it’s also a tall block
ОтветитьPLEASE PUT IT IN THE MONTE CARLO!
ОтветитьI think the RX7 is the way to go on this. I would go out and test with the green truck first to get aquatinted with drag racing. Then you can slowly and methodically build up grandmas car. I wouldn't recommend changing the Monte Carlo into a drag car though. That's a lot of risk for a "forever car". It would be sick, but it will also get thrashed. Do whatever you want, but i see everyone else's comments are similar to mine. At the end of the day we just want to see you on the drag strip.
ОтветитьMonte & 1/8th mile with the rx7 wouldn’t be as fun
ОтветитьMake Grandma's SS an OG style show car. Also because race car.
ОтветитьI can't watch you put that beautiful new engine, in either one of those white elephants; sorry just not an idea I can deal with. No likes given,,,
ОтветитьDrag an drive Monte Carlo
ОтветитьHands down the monte. Fun rowdy car in the streets
ОтветитьPersonally I would put it in the Rx-7. I think you should update grandma’s car but not change the engine
ОтветитьYour rationale of why you hadn't completed in the Vette, was too far to travel. There are quite a few drag stripes in and around Florida. However, many of the drag and drive events involve travelling along distance just to start.
For me, RX7 for that motor, nice LS for the Monte Carlo in a slower class drag and drive
Gotta stick it in the RX-7. I’d love to see a BMW style bump hood molded into the fiberglass. That would look fresh as hell. I think the Monte Carlo should be a more street/strip car that isn’t too wild. Maybe strip the motor out of the street truck and sell that chassis, as I think the Monte Carlo suits that purpose better.
ОтветитьI’d do the nitrous gbody route honestly keep the rx7 for no prep src and OMG will get you set up just right with both cars
ОтветитьI think do whatever you want to.
But
If you don't put it in the drag car then you should put a barra in that
If you don't pus it in the monte carlo you should build that one completely old school. Built nascar or supercharged old engine and just make it a drag car as it was done 30 years ago
Put the LT in the RX. Put a big block in the Monte Carlo and keep using it as a daily .
ОтветитьBuild the Monte Carlo
ОтветитьPicking up the LS just the two of you is so crazy 💪💪💪
ОтветитьBuild grannys car.
ОтветитьI like the idea of a budget rx7 build and make a cool monte Carlo build
ОтветитьBuild the RX7. You can go ahead and do nice work on the Monte but use the LS from the Miata. How much do you really want to cut up the Monte? You don't need to go crazy and do a whole program with the RX7, use it to learn and enjoy it.
ОтветитьPlease consider taking your time to control the audio levels of your videos. The sound of the door chain and everything is SO LOUD compared to your voice. The sound of the rain(?) covers most of the video.
Ответитьid like to see some montecarlo action
ОтветитьRX7 PLEASE
ОтветитьI would say there is 3 "life support" systems to an engine. Oiling, Fueling, and Cooling. If any of those are insufficient or janky and fail, it doesn't matter how nice the parts in the engine are lol
ОтветитьI would def go with the RX. The monte is too clean and sentimental to butcher with a legal cage and stripping it to make it competitive. You can put a stout NA LS in the monte to make it pretty quick, fun to drive, but still nostalgic and comfortable. By the time the monte is a competitive drag car with 1000+ HP it will be unrecognizable from the drivers seat.
ОтветитьBro I just came across your channel and watched too many videos in the last few hours, went from the enclosed trailer, to the bus, seeing you have a FB and Monte had to subscribe
ОтветитьI would love to see some G Body shuffle but the RX7 is the way to go.
ОтветитьLT in the G body, Angel Motorsport 13b for the RX7.
ОтветитьDo something absolutely wild, put the motor in the monte and use the factory motor from the car and build a go cart
Ответить
