SYNwall - A Zero-configuration (IoT) Firewall - Cesare Pizzi @red5heep

A new way to approach IoT security: 99% of threats of IoT devices are coming from network and are external to the the device. But do you want to setup firewall with rules, ports, IPs....not a good idea. So a new approach: a zero-configuration firewall, built with low-end devices in mind. No rules, no ports, no IPs, just a minimal initial setup and the network communication of the device will be like a rock-solid firewall. Bio:
Cesare Pizzi is a security oriented Analyst, Researcher and (sometimes) Developer. Mainly focused on low level programming. I developed a lot of OpenSource software, sometimes hardware related (to interface some real world devices) sometimes not. Works on a lot of reverse engineering too. He likes to share my experiences with the community and participate in community events as presenter.
