Russian Alphabet for Beginners - Easy guide!

Doulingo not helping me so I'll just teach myself

The ones that throws me off the most are the letters that look like an English letter but is completely different in translation. Like for an example B= V or and upside down g= b

When I was growing up my uncle dated a girl who was Russian and I always had her teach me words and stuff for fun and then when I was 12 i started taking Duolingo lessons and I've been doing it since then but I just realized I can't even list the alphabet fully so here we are 😭

Was there a change to how to say the names of the letters at some point ? I learned the Cyrillic alphabet from sesame street and they pronounced the letters " Н, С, Р, Й" all different. Н was pronounced "En, Эн" , C was pronounced "Es, Эс", same with letter Р. Letter й, was said as " И краткое, Short И"
