What kind of bikes do you have? I currently living in Japan and would love to do something like this.

What was your average budget per day?
And this may be a silly question, but when you had to fold your bike up for trains etc. how did you carry the bags that you attach onto the bike?
I've never done a cycling tour anywhere but really tempted to just jump into the deep end and tour a foreign country with just my bike and a tent!

Hi there Juliet and Dave .good video .im off cycle touring around Japan for 3 months in about a month time and I been trying to find info about locations of camp sites and free camping.but I can't seem to come up with much. any info would be cool .and I see you dig the tattoos like myself i love them. how did you get on in the onsen with them .thanks alot dudes keep on riding

Happy you figured out the 'unplug the toilet to charge your phone' bit but for anyone else watching, you can also unplug a vending machine and charge from that outdoor socket.....every time I do this I'm thinking 'I'm doing the owner a big favour here cuz this must cost a fraction of the elec.bill for your vending machine'. and of course not forgetting to plug it back in afterwards.

Did you bring the bikes from England or buy them here?
