Simply wonderful television. Sadly, those days are gone.
ОтветитьCharo ... years ago seen her perform 🎭 at the NUGGET in SPARKS, NEVADA.
ОтветитьOrson was 400 pound's at his heaviest, he was 240 pound's when he died.
ОтветитьHe was so intriguing and gorgeouly masculine when was sober. He looks healthy here. RIP
ОтветитьTwo icons in the same room. What wonders flow.
ОтветитьNever heard of Reed.
Ответитьcrikey, and today we get some fucking they/them whining about being called a tit being interviewed by someone educated up to the age of 11
ОтветитьReed would have been perfect to play explorer Sir Richard Burton
ОтветитьI was actually Floor Manager for this particular episode. What a privilege, Great days.
I remember Orson always brought his own food with him.
Whether it be sandwiches or
Pie, the food was always wrapped up in ( Clingfilm) aka Cellophane.
Well you can imagine Orsons
Appetite. There was so much
Cellophane. Anyway i decided to recycle the material. If you look at the back of the stage
You can see all the Cellophane.
And that was just one of his
Baguettes.
A fountain of knowledge. Now gone. I'm 42 and a pale image of Sir Oliver.
ОтветитьAaah!... wanted to see the 'ejaculation.'
ОтветитьWho's the woman ?
ОтветитьI realize this is only a partial segment of the program, though I'd be honestly surprised if Merv did not ask Orson to show off his jacket lining, and then compare it with his... "Ooooooo... that's nice."
ОтветитьSounds like he likes hamburgers to me
ОтветитьFun fact. Oliver Reed's uncle Carol Reed directed the classic film noir 'The Third Man' with Orson Welles.
ОтветитьEin gutaussehender Mann 👍
ОтветитьBrilliant company, we don’t get such great characters these days.
ОтветитьHe is one interesting prick...
ОтветитьI cry for what weve lost..
ОтветитьOrson… “ may I ask you a question?”
Reed…..” Orson, If you’re capable.”
Love them both.
the sergeant “ was broken and bleeding.” And Reed gently inserted this into the conversation.
ОтветитьCharo was lost here.
ОтветитьOrson Wells waistline is huge.
ОтветитьWhat an astute speaker Oliver was, he was no man's idiot.
Ответитьwhy would ollie call out Orsen and embarrass him regarding not paying restaurant bills?
ОтветитьGreat interview apart from poor Charro fading into the background. She was or still is? extremely intelligent and accomplished as well as these men.
ОтветитьOrson was keen to move away from the weight loss topic at the start. Rude and insensitive of the host to bring it up with Reed , and for Reed to chat about it, as if Welles wasn't siting there.
ОтветитьAhh yes Orson Welles, Charo, and Oliver Reed
ОтветитьOliver reed is only 41 in this clip.
ОтветитьOliver Reed was and is,. a genius
Ответить‘Tell me when she’s finished’.
-Oliver Reed.
ps it's not surprising that Reed was sober... most interviews he's sober and very, very serious...
ОтветитьHow good is this compared to these so called celebrities we have to suffer now
Ответить20 years later Reed would look exactly like Orson Wells when he played Proximo in Gladiator lol.
ОтветитьLoved him in "Burnt Offerings."
ОтветитьIf only he was alive today, we need him.
ОтветитьOllie was a love in this interview
ОтветитьSlightly wrong aspect ratio. Should be 1.33
ОтветитьWhat does orson mean when he say Oliver “displaces air”?
ОтветитьI'd watch talk shows today, if they were a bit more like this
ОтветитьAired 1980.
ОтветитьMmaaaaaa the French
ОтветитьBrilliant
ОтветитьI have nothing to add but I would like to know who the woman is that gets very little mention
ОтветитьOliver Reed was magnificent. His intelligence, his voice, his wit. Orson Welles. There will never be men like this again.😢🦘
ОтветитьThis is the most eloquent conversation about hamburgers I've ever heard lol😊
Ответитьwhos the bird it dont say
Ответитьterrible interview
Ответить
