An important thing to think about that is practical to us in all this crazy drama is that the lineage of Seth were calling on the Lord for mercy and justice. If they were implicated at one time in the deal proffered by the watchers, they had afterwards repented and began calling on the name of YHWH. In this way they became a righteous remnant, set apart and holy to God. God's word tells us that He always sets apart a remnant for Himself, so we should always strive to be a part of His holy remnant through repentance. Praise God!

Alberino is the first I’ve heard to interpret Genesis 6:6 correctly. The watchers weren’t in league with Satan, this was a separate event and it was voluntary on the part of the humans involved.

Great interview and information. However, Tim never touches on the timing discrepancy between the Bible's clearly-identified ages of Adam and his descendants, which place the creation of Adam at about 4,000 BC, and the approximate time of the fatal comet in about 10,000 BC. Using the information from Genesis, the flood occurs - give or take 50 years - around 2350 BC. How, then, can the 10,000 BC Younger Dryas event be the cause of the Biblical flood? In all other respects, I agree (or at least don't DIS-agree) with Mr. Alberino's hypotheses, but I can't reconcile the said timing differences. Clarification would be appreciated, probably by many of us.

I always contemplate whether such an impact would have been the initial cause of our tilted and wobbly axis, or whether it was already tilted for the purpose of the seasons. If the axis tilt did shift, imagine the weather shift, the view and 'path' of the stars would have changed. May also explain dating based on celestial mapping... so much to ponder.

If North America is under a 1-2 mile ice cap that has to be post flood. The loss of the canopy and the fountains of the great deep breaking up is what brought about the water to submerge North America in ice. The massive cooling from ice falling back from the expanded atmosphere is what put the earth under ice to begin with. I think the younger dryas is a melting event/ minor flood when the earth was beginning to warm up after the great flood.

I think the flood that occurred in around 9–12,000 BC is actually the flood referenced in Genesis 1:2; and Noah's flood came later in Genesis 7.

This is a most interesting podcast. I have been aware of Timothy Alberino's work for a while and have enjoyed his films, and he is a very competent and thorough researcher, with an exhaustive knowledge ancient mythology, and of native S. American culture amongst other things. I have done my own research over the years (but not nearly to the same extent as Tim) into ancient mythology and the amazing consistency of the Flood accounts and pre-Flood culture worldwide, and believe that we can glean a great deal from the beliefs and traditions of many cultures going back into antiquity, and also from ancient writings such as the Book of Enoch. These traditions, with some variation, do bear out the Biblical account. However, while I respect Tim's huge body of work and dedication to the subject, and I go along with almost everything he says, I do have to take issue with his time scale.

God established two patterns throughout the Bible's literal history of the earth from Creation to the Great White Throne Judgement: literal 24-hour days representing literal 24-hour days, and a day representing 1,000 years: 2 Peter 3:8: "...with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day."

The first pattern makes sense of the 6-day Creation account, followed by God resting on the 7th day. God could have created the heavens and the earth in an instant; He is omnipotent and did not need to take a whole 6 days to do it; neither was He so tired afterwards that He needed to rest for a day. He did this as a pattern for us, establishing the 6-day week of work followed by the rest day on the 7th, as proved in the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:11).

The second pattern is revealed as follows. If you take a literal reading of Scripture (and Scripture must be our final arbiter), it is clear from the lifespans of the pre-Flood Patriarchs and beyond, and their ages at which their sons were born who were next in line, that we are talking about approximately 2,000 years from Adam (Year 0, or 4000 BC) to Abraham (aproximately 2000 BC). Add another 2,000 years from Abraham, and we arrive at the First Coming of Christ (around 0 BC/AD). Add another approximately 2,000 years for the Church Age, and this brings us to approximately 2000 AD, and observing the convergence of prophesied signs of the End, it is clear that the Second Coming of Christ is imminent. This will usher in His 1,000-year reign from David's throne in Jerusalem (the Millennial Kingdom). This makes a total of 7,000 years - 6,000 years (6 days) when the earth labours, followed by 1,000 years (1 day) when the earth will rest. (The dates are approximate, of course, and with some overlaps, but the pattern is clear.)

Another very interesting fact arises from these two patterns, relating to the Passover, where 4 literal days and 4,000 years are both significant.

We see 4 literal days in the Law pertaining to the Passover (see Exodus 12:3-6), which states that the Passover lambs were to be selected on the 10th of Nisan, and examined for 4 days until the 14th, when they were to be sacrificed if they were proved to be free from blemish. Jesus made His triumphal entry into Jerusalem on 10th Nisan, and for four days was examined by the Temple authorities who tried to trip Him up, but they could not, thus proving Him to be the fulfilment of the "Lamb without blemish." On the 14th Nisan, He died on the Cross at the exact moment that th lambs were being sacrificed.

If we take the day-1,000-year pattern, Jesus appeared, and became our Passover Lamb sacrificed for us, at approximately the 4,000-year mark from Creation. From the very beginning (Gen. 3:15) His coming was foretold, and in the 2,000 years following Abraham, the picture of Him became ever clearer as God revealed more information through the Prophets, and the people were able to examine these facts for themselves and put their faith in His future coming, and recognise Him when He appeared. For 4,000 years, Christ was "examined." He then appeared, at exactly the right time, to complete the work for which He was sent into the world - our salvation.

Regarding Tim's statements about working out dates by examining equinoctial drift, there is a danger in extrapolating from a presupposition. He is assuming that this phenomenon has occurred at a constant rate from the beginning. We have no way of proving one way or another whether this is the case. It is possible, for instance, that the cataclysm which he so graphically describes, could well have altered the tilt of the earth's axis, or its speed of rotation.

In conclusion, if you start changing the times, and dating the Flood at around 10,000 BC, this completely destroys the beautiful symmetry of God's Word, and the significance of number in Scripture. I prefer to believe what the Bible says in this regard, rather than the opinions of man.

In the 80s I became acquainted with a Psychic/Medium and his wife - and I had been deceived by them, "due to a lack of knowledge". Having been born and raised Roman Catholic, I have been searching for God with all my heart - and since the Devil "does not exist", I truly believed that all these paranormal/supernatural experiences were from God. These 2 wrote volumes of scrap books about Atlantis, Lemuria, our many reincarnations there ...., by automatic handwriting. One thing I remember the most now (since Christ Jesus has delivered me from this evil, and understanding Genesis 6, thanks to faithful believers like you guys!) is their satement: "We came down from a planet called "FO" (didnt speak much english then, so I did not know that "FOE" in the old english means "enemy") and that we came down to this Prison Planet Earth out of "love", because we wanted to make earthly/fleshly love..." -LUST! I'm on my 2nd listen and am just eating this up! There's sooo much information here. A different biblical perspective than I've ever held - we tend to sigh and dust off our hands when hypotheses fit neatly into the world view we grew up in (even the Christian biblical world view) - the phrase I began to hear about 17 years ago was 'we were born for such a time as this...' which grips the scripture in Daniel 12 regarding the increase of knowledge. This doesn't appear to fit so neatly in the childish, almost cartoonish imagination of the span of time we were taught as the Genesis history. If what you are proposing has complete scriptural support (I'm not finding any conflicts), I'm inclined to agree with you. Since '93, I've been learning exponentially more about the world and the significance of those things that were' shut up'.... This video offers amazing detail and explanation deserving serious consideration in light of the spiritual context of our current global involvement. Thank you. Sorry. There's no 12000 years ago. Those are false dates. Ice age happened after the flood. And it wasn't an agr. It was a few monthsoure believing those false dates the archeologists guvdvioiu. Instead of what the word of God says. The flood doesn't date back that far. And it's easy to prove it isn't. Based on the genealogies. Going backwards from Jesus. You won't get passed 4000 years. Sorry. That's just false information. I'll stick to what scripture says. God bless. But that doesn't match scripture
