Why you guys buy an expensive microinverter that works for only one panel? There are microinverters that works with 4 panels. Just curious to know.

When you say the "old style" how far back are we talking? My system is 12 years old, I was just notified that my installer is no longer servicing my system so, I have to get with Enphase. Thank you for this video. :)

Do you do service solar or just new installs? I am in Massachusetts and I just found out the company I used went out of business. One of my Panels is reading 0 in the Solar Edge App! The rest are functioning.

Great video, this really helped me replace one of my dead micro converters! The new Enphase Installer Toolkit app lets you switch out the micro converters in the system with swapping out their serial numbers, takes about 30 minutes for the system to start to see the new converter once you swap the numbers in the app. Cheers

Question: If I need to fix the roof, can I power off the system, go up there disconnect my panel/inverter, make my roof repairs, reconnect everything, and turn on the system without issues? I don’t want to void the warranty. I also don’t want to call tech support, etc.

Sorry, trying to avoid a tech every time I need a quick roof repair. 😂
