My Advice.
Rifle always go Electric , constant performance, weather doesn't effect it and a full charge will last you a long time.
Pistol go for Co2 if you are in the cold or want constant performance or else get at least 145+ psi cans for GBB.

BTW, I went for a TM MWS and have not been disappointed yet even even playing in a cold underground tunnel system for several hours. Mag dumps on full auto were not a problem!

In Finland weekend games are still played when it's -10 to -15 and there are still some players in those temperatures. Of course plenty of players just stay inside in winter months. But those are the temperatures where also some AEGs start experiencing issues.
-5 for GBBR is already pushing it. My GHKs with black gas and without lighter buffer spring fail somewhere around +1 to -1 Celsius after the mags have gotten cold. Just not enough power for the bb to fly to distance. GHKs have Devil Hunter mod for magazines that works better in cold but results may vary.
MrDuffo has managed to run his MWS on -5 and beyond by keeping the mags warm against his body. So Marui might be best bet if you wanna play in snow with GBBR.

Also you can run .36 or heavier bbs on most outside powered rifles. The fps drop is non factor on short distances and mass is beneficial when distances grow.

I have a question is it a bad idea to use silicone spray and clean the barrel with the hop up still on?? Like will the hop up rubber get damaged??

first thing you should do when getting into gbbrs is buy a propane adapter and a couple tank 2 can be like 10$ and last longer way cheaper only con is they can be stinky but if outside it isnt as bad

For storing the mags I usually put silicone oil on the O-rings then a very little bit of gas (ultra low pressure) in the mags.

I only had one AEG it broke down then I switched to GBB. The best loadout I found for now Is GBB main or GBB HPA taped main and GBB secondary, or GBB main with gbb magazines where you need to be precise with the shots and HPA pistol with adaptor for 120 BBS capacity maggs or what ever you want for when you just need some suppression power or for those that don't call the hits.
