This scene was just a scene when I was a kid, but now fills me with rage. The husband, deeply betrayed and having not actually committed a crime, is put away for murder while his cheating cunt of a wife probably just continues to get her cheeks clapped by Mr. home wrecker.

He was released at the end of the movie when precog evidence was rendered invalid and his conviction quashed.

So he'll return to his house with a clean rap sheet and do it for real this time.

It's the "Don't cry" part which made me lose any empathy for the wife. She looked down on her husband so much, she didn't even consider he was capable of murder. She expected him to start sobbing. A truly despicable woman.
