Microsoft New Outlook for Windows Strategy & Timeline Recap

I was sceptical about ‘new Outlook’, but today I returned from a few days off and facing a huge email/task backlog. I got into the flow with the new interface and I really like it.

A very helpful video. When they removed the ability to send Tasks to others, I lost hope in the Outlook for Desktop Product. If the Tasks feature is removed from Outlook, I will move to something other than Outlook. The Tasks Application is not helpful for managing work.

Microsoft's entire strategy since 2014 can be summed up in one word: enshitification. Given that every change is literally for the WORSE.
And it's hard to do it so badly, but they are managing to do it so.
