I think they fucked up the entire premise of New World. Mishandled PvP.
first of all they are suppose to have just landed on this world.. there is no reason they would be killing each other than.. they would be against a common enemy. So either A) they been there a while and have established proper settlement with opposing countries. B) would of been better.. choice to play as human or corrupted.

from what i have seen the game looks easy. im hoping im just watching people in max gear

It just looks so easy.. is there any danger? What I saw was players 2 or 3 shoting every mob with no thinking required. Just mindless grinding with zero fear of death or losing a fight even a remote possibility

New World is looking good! I'm hoping Amazon doesn't follow the rest of the industry by slowly ruining their own game due to greed and incompetence. We shall see.

This looks like a high budget Conan exiles with less story (from what I've seen). Still gonna play it though I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised!

Id expect a the greatest mmo since it came from Amazon, instead it seems like black desert/eso

Vanilla wow, TBC, and WOTLK will continue to smash this forever.

Combat, gear, environments, basically everything looks great, but it looks way too easy.
Edit: However on the bottom left I'm seeing that they are at level 60, while the enemies are around 30. I just hope that the difficulty is set correctly.

So as far as I can see they have 3 skills per weapon set. 3. This is even less than ESO where combat already seems too boring for me. If not that, this could actually be a decent game.

I'm not even a MMORPG fan but new world I'm excited for :D

I've been playing wow since Vanilla came out, took breaks on and off, recently bought the Shadowlands expansion after taking a half year break again. I allready regret buying the expansion. Tried playing the BFA patch 8.3, it is systems on systems on systems, still going to play Shadowlands as i am a Blizzard fanboy. Everytime i played WoW, i always tried other MMO's hoping it was the next wow killer but always got dissapointed with them, because developers delivering empty promises, Warhammer, Conan etc. This looks very promising hope it turns out great, but i have my doubts!

This game looks amazing! i will for sure try this one. The combat and sound are great i know its still in development but something i will improve are the environments diversity and details. I know they are taking dark souls as inspiration though, which is a good thing for me

combat seems slow and tedious, not a fan of the armors ' or guns) but the landscape and the monsters look really interesting, but idn the combat seems like a bad version of assasins creed odessey

Are they overgeared or mobs so easy to kill? Dying in few hits.

No background music? All maps are in night time/dawn/dusk? It looks very tiring to play because you have to aim every attack and dodge.

This game is getting some much hate on reddit but this looking good honestly and they've pushed it back to it's good

you know, there once was a great fire called World of Warcraft. That fire burned down, eventually died off, but there still that feeling of community and togetherness within the ashes somewhere. And right now watching this, it makes me feel as if someone directs the sun's rays to a very small pile of tinder.
Not burning yet, but you can already see and smell the tiny columns of smoke. A little more wind, a little more sun, and the fire will start to rage again.

I really wish they went with the high fantasy instead. Not sure how this one is going to be received by the MMO community.

Don't like how you're locked into a movement animation when you attack. Could make you feel out of control of your character i.e. less smooth gameplay.

Meh, been following the game for a while and I just don't think that it has what it takes to be "succesfull" outside of the million copies that it is probably going to sell.

Funny how the only MMO that winds up on my radar is from Amazon.
