So basically this guys lackadaisical approach/attitude to getting the one single thing you need in a horse race ( a horse) combined with his love/passion for the race/event spawned an entire sport/way of life.

I love living only 20 minutes away from the finish line. I get to run on the trails whenever i want and post collegiate running ill get to actually do this race! Ive been wanting to complete it ever since I heard about it! someday it will happen!
