(A 👩 woman screaming; Reggie takes Amy out of harm's way down the ground at a 🍸 barstand)

The music in the background at the start of this scene is "Cajun Panther" by Little Caesar. The song must have been cut differently for the film because you hear the lead singer in the original tune, yet in this movie you just hear the background chorus saying the words "Tough talking" and "Cajun Panther". That is all, no lead singer. Still a good song though. Takes me back right to that time.

I've always felt this shootout was a nod to the good bad & ugly. Except it was 3 pairs shooting out against each other

The sound FX editing and action sequences are so god damn good in this one. Classic!

A great shooting scene. I can watch this part a billion times!!! You diiiigggg!!! And this is why I call me "the Iceman"; the only difference is that I ain't selling no dope & I ain't getting killed ,a cos I'm living to a hundred years, by the grace & blessing of THE LORD MY GOD IN HEAVEN.

Could hear the anger in Jacks voice when he sees that Ben is The Iceman when he said “ you know Ben I really didn’t want to believe it” after they have known each other for years as friends and colleagues. Sometimes when watching the original 48 Hours wonder if Ben was already the Iceman as see him quite often on the phone and in Another 48 Hours Cates been after the Iceman for years. Reggie was set up by Iceman and had his sentence added on when payroll money was put in his cell. In the 2nd film it was revealed to that Reggie and his gang including Albert Ganz had robbed money from Kehoe years back.

Ed O’Ross a classic 80s and 90s villain with playing villains in Dick Tracy, Universal Solider, Another 48 Hours, Red Heat and Lethal Weapon in a small part as Mendez.

Brion James’ awesome acting notwithstanding, Andrew Divoff’s acting throughout the movie went the same way he ended the movie…Over the top in the most badass way.

Everything about this scene is damn near perfect…the music, the dialogue, the shootout! I can watch this movie endlessly it will never get old. Probably not funny to most but I lost it when the dancer bit him in the cage and he went off on her lol! 😂

I never understood what Eddie Murphy was shooting at. He's just opening fire where people are running around. He could have hit anyone but he didn't anything.
