Awesome video dude, these monsters made me afraid of statues for years 💀🤣
ОтветитьSo much potinal
ОтветитьLet’s do a weeping Angel vs Medusa lol
ОтветитьI like to headcannon that maybe the true form of a weeping angel looks like a biblically accurate angel when they aren't observed.
ОтветитьI like how some doctor who monsters were just scp before it was cool 😂
Ответить❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьPeanut on steroids
ОтветитьI’m almost certain they also mentioned somewhere that the Weeping Angels originated from “the beginning of time, or at least close to it”
ОтветитьI honestly never quite considered the angels moving as removing f that mystique, as they explained they were stone despite being unobserved as Amy tricked them into thinking she was staring, so them “moving” was them fighting their own defense mechanism as they realized she couldn’t actually see them, so they weren’t properly “moving”
Ответить"that is CRAZY!"
Meaning, "it doesnt make sense with the established story"
The weeping angles being able to use the reflection of your eye is just stupid to me..
They were just fine before. It feel like an unnecessary addition
I think it’s fitting that you can’t find the source of your “cave painting” origin, considering Moffat still can’t find the statue that was his origin for the idea
Ответитьwhy don't they just put a mirror infront of them.....?
ОтветитьI havent seen the show but couldnt they just moved all the angels while still looking at them and then turned their backs and boom the wheeping angels are dead? since they cant look at each other or else they will be dead that would be a brilliant idea
ОтветитьPut the Angels in a Hall Of Mirrors . . .
ОтветитьI remember this episode kept me up at night when I was younger 😂
ОтветитьThese are the most terrifying villains/monster ever in my opinion. They aren't terrifying in appearance, they are terrifying in concept and behaviour. The fact they are so fast and can only be stopped forever if they look at each over. The loneliest creatures ever. When they killed that soldier, they ripped out his cerebral cortex and communicated through him. Wtf, they are so freaking terrifying.
ОтветитьI think what went on about the Weeping Angel statue moving its head was probably because they might have learned to move between the frames of film. Which might explain why their head moved so slowly while also being a statue. It was actually moving between the frames of the film but at the frame of film they stopped, and they did this a lot so its kind of like stop motion.
Since the angles are so fricking fast at both moving and locking its not entirely impossible that they have learned to move between frames of films.
:o
Ответитьjust wanted to say that in angels take Manhattan, there are 2 statues that don't look like angels but at first we see that they sometimes leave the place they are supposed to be at, and at the end of the episode they get rid off the crazy guy who tried to study angels
ОтветитьI still dont get their motivations. They can feed on energy other than time so why do they go through the trouble of chasing people.
Ответитьfun fact: During the shooting of the "weeping angels" they used a bicycle seat on the weeping angel costumes where the actors can sit while shooting anyways the director discussed about what to eat to the weeping angel prop for like some time until someone pointed it out... thats how good the prop makers are
ОтветитьThe weeping angels are my favorite, and are the entire reason I got into Doctor Who and sci Fi fandom as a whole!!! A friend showed me Blink back in 2013, and from there I was hooked. Such a brilliant and terrifying concept, I had nightmares about them after my first watch!
ОтветитьLiterally SCP-173, next level horror when you think about it.
ОтветитьThe weeping angels remind me of that one meme that goes like, "What if our teeth are soft by default but only turns hard whenever we bite something"
ОтветитьThey are evil or reforming time lords. Maybe the weeping angels are the end of the timelord race.
Ответитьstill the most scarry series ever made , always got goose bumps seeing them.
ОтветитьThey inspired an SCP
ОтветитьIs that scprp background sound???
ОтветитьBasically own a fish or a snake because they don’t blink
ОтветитьDamn I feel like a weeping angel story written by rtd would go HARD
ОтветитьI have one question. What would happen if an angle walked across your field of view? Like would they have to freeze as soon as they enter it or would you be able to see them move for a split second.
ОтветитьHow can i watch the original series?
ОтветитьIt is kind of bullshit overpowered though that to stop a Weeping Angel you have to look at it but looking at it means it can now possess your brain and you become one yourself.
Like yeah, the concept of them was creepy, but everything since then has just made me less interested in them drastically, what next? The Doctor is ACTUALLY a Weeping Angel mutant? The Timeless Child was just a Weeping Angel all along? It's a bit silly.
The angel wasn't moving in the episode, it was being observed in the time the lights were blinking on and off, it was moving slightly between flickers and the almost stop motion movement of the angel is a result of that.
ОтветитьOnce the origin of the Weeping Angels is revealed they will be just another Who monster and nothing more.
The greatest fear is fear of the unknown.
Moffat gives only enough info and no more, if he is smart he will leave it at that.
Here's what I don't understand tho:
The weeping angels move very fast.
They move when they're not being observed.
But in the show, it almost seems like you need to look at the statue version of the angel first to activate it. If they move that fast, why can't they just attack from behind before a person can even figure out what's going on? Also, if they can only move like a few yards per blink, how fast are they really?
Hold on… you sound like vickstar but if he only did the myth busting/ informative videos
ОтветитьIf they appeared in the 60th specials that would have been amazing. At least they got referenced in “the giggle” when the toymaker was taunting the doctor over Amy’s death by a weeping angel
ОтветитьIt’s not a reboot
ОтветитьThe fact that i also remember something about the cave drawings but forgot D:
ОтветитьThis video didn’t explain anything very clearly and not in order
ОтветитьSCP-173 be like
Ответитьscp 173 but doctor who vertion
ОтветитьThe weeping angels are time variants being punished.
Ответить....this was ripped off scp173 and human vocal lizards in the basement in the games
Ответить
