Parabéns meu irmão 😎
ОтветитьGreat reminder, David! To get even more mileage out of the pentatonic in situations when the progression hangs over a single chord for an extended duration, try throwing in the pentatonic of the relative fifth for a spicier sound occasionally, i.e. Em-pentatonic over an Am chord or G-pentatonic over a C.
ОтветитьI didn't get email for free guitar course ? Never came
ОтветитьVery good lesson. I have been improvising for a long time and do things differently, but this is a great add. I really appreciate it. It gives another path. I am constantly learning, even after many many years of playing. It is amazing what you can learn when you drop your gunslinger ego and open your mind to other players ideas and concepts. Once we as lead guitarists receive praise from an audience for our ability, we often shut out other ideas and suggestions. It is like believing your own press clippings. As a young player it was probably more detrimental to my development than anything else. Not everyone understands what I am saying, but now, I really appreciate those who are willing to educate. Willing to give up valuable information rather than keeping others in the dark. Thanks again.
ОтветитьThe ducks in the intro made my day.
ОтветитьTop-level video and advices! Going to try! 😊👍💯
Ответитьamazing! I've been struggling with this problem for years now and now it seems I have a way out
ОтветитьNot wrong.

ОтветитьYep. You are reading my comment completely wrong.
ОтветитьThank you for sharing the tutorial sir🎸
ОтветитьVery nice!!😊
Ответить"incorrectly"
ОтветитьGreat approach, David! Moving from one chord to the next seems like a great way to build phrasing skills.
ОтветитьThanks for the tips, David!
ОтветитьOK, I tried this over F > C > G > Am progression, and I found whenever I played the F pentatonic over F chord, it sounded off. Somehow C, G, and Am scales blend into each other nicely, but F sticks out like a sore thumb. What am I doing wrong?
Ответитьamazing thank you for this.
ОтветитьGreat video lesson here, thanks.
Is there a book or video available that shows you what scale to play over what chord? For instance is there a certain scale that should be used with 7th chords?
🥰
ОтветитьVery awesome video!
ОтветитьI LIKE the intros -- pure industrial-strength Wallimann !
ОтветитьI got here first!!! 🎉😂
