What I don't understand about the Signal news story is how anyone in possession of top secret information can just publish it. That bit confuses me. Snowden is in exile, for example. This guy should have recused himself from the meeting immediately, surely? What am I missing? Were they sending documents out to all the people signed on? Does receiving top secret documents mean you can disseminate them? It's hard to tell the details because of the press orgiastic hysteria atm. and why was this guy on the recipient list of a supposed top secret app in the first place?
