I had a spiritual experience
It is my belief that when the Savior was suffering in the Garden, each of us we’re able to can and be with Him, we were the angel that came and comforted Him
Time is different in Heaven -
It makes sense to me that we would be allowed to play a part of the suffering
Wow Wow Wow WOW!!!! I've never made that type of connection between mother/child and Christ/me.... Using your Degree has helped me see and appreciate the Lord even more. Thank you!!!
ОтветитьOh Happy Day ❤️ I ❤ Jesus Christ my Master
ОтветитьThank you Brother Dunford!
ОтветитьThank you so much Brother Dunford for teaching this series on Christ’s Atonement. I have listened to and learned from every one of your series of videos, some multiple times . ❤
ОтветитьI’m not a smart person who can understand a lot when I hear talks it takes a lot to understand. You HELP so much! Thank you
ОтветитьLove you! Thx for sharing
ОтветитьThank you so much!
I learned a lot from this. My first real earnest care about the atonement was from when I was 14 when I listened to W Cleon Skousen’s “why the atonement was necessary” and how Heavenly Father’s power was due to his being honored by all intelligences in the Universe! A really great talk. Thank you for your own presentation that reminds me about that! His Honor is his Power. He is universally honored and the demands of justice were met by Christ's atonement through the mercy of the intelligences that honor his sacrifice for us. He paid to ransom each of us!
Thanks Bryce! I look forward to studying with you!
ОтветитьWonderful!! Thank you!

ОтветитьBryce, I love this. I’m going to rewatch this again and again. Thank you.
ОтветитьThank you for this information.
ОтветитьThank you, thank you!!!!!!
ОтветитьThank you for this!!
Ответитьthank you for showing us a framework for our study. When you first asked the question, how are we going to study the atonement? I was thinking --where do es one begin. Thank you so much. There is so much we need to comprehend and know. I can see how even what we have learned from this first lesson can bind our hearts to Christ more fully.
ОтветитьThank you. I look forward to the feasts you will prepare for us. Know what you mean about studying better when preparing to present. Just released as Gospel Doctrine teacher and keenly feeling that difference. I think it involves stewardship—a mantle lifted.
ОтветитьI love every one of your videos! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and testimony. I learn so much from you.
Ответитьi love your messages brother im watchung this
ОтветитьThis was wonderful! Thank you!
ОтветитьThank you, Bro Dunford, for reminding me about Pres Nelson's call to study the Atonement. I look forward to hearing more from you - it keeps me on track.
ОтветитьThank you for helping me get more out of Pres. Nelson’s admonition. This is very helpful. Thanks again.
ОтветитьWhen I was pregnant with my 29 yr. Old son, a cyst grew to the size of a soccer ball in my ovary that had to be removed. The surgery was in my 20th week of gestation. At a later time after my child was born I had another abdominal surgery by another surgeon who knew my history. He explored the healing that had taken place and reported to me in amazement that there was no scarring or evidence that I ever had that surgery…except of course with exception of the missing ovary. Otherwise, I was so perfectly healed there was no evidence. At the time I thought, well, my body is in grow mode…so it healed better. I love knowing now that it was my son who actually helped heal me. Beautiful.
ОтветитьI am so glad I found you! I've been looking for resources to use on my own study of the Atonement of Christ. So glad you're here!
ОтветитьA thought: Every time one is anointed with oil by the power of the Priesthood in the name of the Lord, it is symbolic of applying the Atonement to them. Think healing blessings and the initiatory. Oil represents Gethsemane, of course.
ОтветитьThe Atonement of Christ, and the birthing experience of women, are similitudes of each other. Without woman's sacrifice, by shedding their blood, their water, and nurturing our body and spirit in the womb, and because they would often give their life in the early years, we are brought into this world. Our first birth. We are born again through the Atonement of Christ, through his blood in genthsemane, his water when pierced by the spear, and through giving up his spirit, tot hen be resurrected. We are also born again through baptism (like in the womb, we are submersed in water, and come forth out again), and we receive the Holy SPirit and the baptism of fire. It is all connected. There is defiitely a symbiotic relationship between baby and mother.
ОтветитьThank you for sharing your insights about the Saviour’s Atonement.. loved it..GB🙏…
ОтветитьThank you! I was filled with the Spirit listening , especially the end about Him seeing us and us playing a part in His healing. I could feel that you truly are a witness!❤ I will be forever grateful to my Savior!!!
ОтветитьThank you I too want to follow the prophet and study the Atonement. This was beautiful.
ОтветитьYou presented some concepts that I have never heard, or thought of before. Thank you so very much, it gives me much to ponder.
ОтветитьAMAZING thank you!!
ОтветитьAmazing! Thank you Bryce, I will be recommending you to my Gospel Doctrine class
ОтветитьI learned that it was a literal butter cup
ОтветитьI have the same degree - it's nice when it comes in handy 😂
ОтветитьNot sure if you will see this Bryce, I always thought of that hymnal verse "He only could unlock the gates of Heaven and let us in" as He could only open the door to Heaven and it is our choice if we want to accept the invitation or not. It's interesting to think of it as He is the only one who could open the gates to Heaven because of his character and what he did for us.
ОтветитьI love the relating of the Atonement to maternal/ foetal microchimerism. I found it fascinating. Thank you Bryce. I enjoy your videos. Looking forward to #2.
ОтветитьWow! ❤
ОтветитьThis is great. Next time my mom gets angry and pulls the “I gave birth to you” card, now I got a comeback haha. Honestly Bryce your insights are amazing. Thank you for sharing your talents
ОтветитьThis was so thought provoking and powerful. Thank you!

STEP 1 = Mark 11:26
ОтветитьBryce, you answered my prayer by starting this series regarding our savior's atonement!! How grateful we ARE!🙏🏻☺️🙏🏻🙏🏻
ОтветитьCOULD YOU POSSIBLY USE YELLOW FOR YOUR HIGHLIGHTING INSTEAD OF ORANGE??🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
ОтветитьThere is a footnote in Elder Kearons talk that quotes President Nelson saying that one of the ways Jesus was able to endure the atonement was to focus on joy. His focus was on us the whole time. He focused on the joy of our redemption. On our being able to be cleansed through his suffering and the joy of being able to return to the father. Bryce, thank you so much for your studies and for sharing your knowledge with us. This is so wonderful to ponder this relationship we have with him.
ОтветитьThis is an incredible episode! As a woman and a mother it gave me incredible insight. I’m sharing with this everyone!
ОтветитьPowerful, striking, memorable.
ОтветитьHow does the Atonement help with my mental suffering. I've fought most of my life. I've reached out to the Lord for help and guidance. I've tried to help myself. I read The Infinite Atonement, but I still don't understand how it helps me with depression and anxiety. I must not understand. I know His suffering was terrible, but how do I access His help? I'm so sad right now. What if I can't deal with this anymore. My life feels wasted. What's my purpose?
ОтветитьI love your comments about the Savior and His Atonement. I especially loved what you said about mother snd child and the cells of the child. How precious! The Lord is truly the only one in the universe to accomplish this great act of love. How amazing that we would help Him by seeing us. How great the wonder and the love. Thank you for your beautiful thoughts about our precious Lord and Redeemer. There is nobody like Him.
