My father had open heart surgery 6 weeks ago he was on ventilator for about 12-14 hours.

My father has glioplastoma wild type .. He had to do this michancal breathing befor three weeks .. Then they do him a hole in tracqi .. He gets throw alot and this break my harte 😢

Just asking is it possible that intubate machine can cause an ache due to the esophagus is so small that s why the patient suffer pain with her throat and she can not shallow even water and the operation is suspend due to scars happen . Can you pls. advice us regarding this matter. 🙏🙏🙏
