how do you ppermanently remove the bad smell or odor from this bottle?

Thank you. So far, the only review where someone actually showed one of these collapsing bottles with water in it so we can see the "leak proof". And I've watched about 20 today.

Humans are making us collapsible now. Well, at least that draws attention away from plastic water bottles so we will no longer be awaiting the recycling bin.

Just hoping you can answer a question about the Valour collaspable water bottle..how to open it. Pressing the button as hard as possible and still can not open that top. Any ideas how to open it? Thanks
