Thank you for always giving solid, simple and genuine advice.. watching and subscribed from South Africa 🇿🇦
ОтветитьGreat insight. Need some coffee.
ОтветитьAwesome video as always 😎👍🏻
ОтветитьExcellent coaching. IMO - laser devices like a Strikeman are excellent practice tools and affordable. No recoil on them so you’ll still need to get to the range but less often.
ОтветитьYou need to be able to hit COM on a target with 2 rds at 3 yards under 3 seconds!
ОтветитьOne of my great teachers said, you never train enough on something that can kill you. ALWAYS training (in a positive way)
ОтветитьMr Mickey
I have a P365X, some advice on maintaining the master grip on the smaller grip please, especially with follow up shots...
Great, great, great stuff Mick!! Thank you, brother!
Brian
1.5 seconds from open carry is a lot easier than 1.5 seconds from concealment.
ОтветитьI am 50 and have a 11 year old and 4 1/2 year old, I started my family late. And I still can’t afford too take a class I am shelf taught
ОтветитьI dry fire alot at home and when I go to the range I mainly practice draw to first shot. I go to the range at least once a month. I get a little bit of ammo every paycheck.
ОтветитьSeveral videos on training with 50 rds. Dry fire always good.
ОтветитьThe best all encompassing video, that I have ever seen. Thank you
ОтветитьIs the training industry lying? What training do you really need?
That answer is 100% SUBJECTIVE
There are gun gurus on tiktok peddling nonsense like "you need 2 courses a year and 1 range trip a month" MINIMUM 😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьWait! You mean to tell me there are people who like guns that have "spending problems?" 😂😂
ОтветитьGood video. Good concepts and good demonstration. I also use those laser bullets for "dry fire".
ОтветитьIf you go to the range once per month, you’re already better than 95% of police officers. -my buddy who trains cops
ОтветитьDon't be judging my spending problems! 🤣
ОтветитьCarry Trainer: “We drive rounds into the parts of the body that control the body.”
Women: “The dick it is.”
I couldn't help but notice that Mikey is able to reholster his weapon without a glitch. He obviously would be a better candidate for Secret Service than some people I am familiar with.
ОтветитьI would run your camera any day, I live in Arizona…..🫤🫤🫤
ОтветитьMickey a Fudd??? 😂 What The??… I think some of the keyboard ninjas do not know what a fudd is!!..😂
ОтветитьVery good video, brotherhood!!!! 👍🏾👌🏽💯💙🙏🏽
ОтветитьGreat video Mick! Always appreciate the reminder of practical, effective, repeatable over chasing the next fancy goal—when the 1.5 all day isn’t yet all day. ;) Much love and appreciation for being a unique voice in the industry. Will see ya soon sir.
PS, you’ll always be my favorite Fudd. 😂
The biggest problem today in the training fraternity is the GUCCI WOKE crap. Ie, you get all dressed up like a DELTA operator and you run around after your ninja-looking instructor. The problem is you don't go shopping dressed up like that. Classes should look like an accountant conference. Grey man training, drawing from concealment getting off the X, reality-based training, that is what makes you a harder target
ОтветитьI'm a student AND instructor as well. This is the first time hearing ANY instructor say that "if you don't train with the best names in the industry, you're wasting your time". That's simply not true in my opinion. Like you said, set standards and expextations for yourself, get good info from good resources (like you) and start your journey
ОтветитьAwesome instruction as always Mick. You're one of the best out there friend.
ОтветитьMicky,.you are quickly becoming one of two channels that I click like before even watching the video. The other is Paul Harrel. You present such solid information , in a real world approach. Love the videos and appreciate the hard work that goes into being a one person crew. Thank you!!!
ОтветитьDude, I'm so glad I found your channel.
ОтветитьIt’s an “industry”…. Of course they prop themselves up. It’s self gratifying.
ОтветитьI'm a new shooter. What is the purpose of press checking after cycling the slide (to chamber a round)?
ОтветитьThis is a great no nonsense honest down to the root basics video. I dig it!!!. New subscriber here!!
Ответитьyes they are we are not in army there are diff. things to do not give bunch of money to some guy saying bunch of phrases that sound tactical lol comon knolage and wisdom of God is all we need
ОтветитьWait…your long socks make you a Fudd? My kids tell me my ankle socks let everybody know I was born last century. 😂 can’t make everybody happy I guess.
ОтветитьFrom a 79 year old two thumbs up.
ОтветитьBecause it works… And, the majority of Police trade in Glocks shoot less than 100 rounds per years
ОтветитьDepends. Are you going to join the militia and fight? Or are you going to hunker down and protect your loved ones.
ОтветитьSelf-taught works depending on one's commitment to the goal.
ОтветитьYou're my favorite hands down
ОтветитьI think the most critical time for someone to seek out the services of a trainer is when they first decide to get a gun. I suppose shooting can be self taught for a few, but many new shooters who sign up for their first concealed carry class also come there to get their first lessons in marksmanship and gun handling because someone told them the concealed carry folks would teach them. In my state, it’s an eight hour course with a few slides in class on the fundamentals, then as much time on the range as it takes to shoot the qualification course once or twice as needed. Learning the fundamentals first is more critical than anything else. A good trainer will help someone get there in the early stages. Then go to concealed carry class.
ОтветитьI am in my 60s. I spent my working life in the Army. I have seen a lot of people trying to be like a spec ops operator. I have seen magazines emptied in seconds. Marksmanship? Not as much. Slow handgun courses of fire get you there to accuracy. After that, all things can be practiced and added. I was glad to hear you mention marksmanship before more complicated things. I got a laser trainer. That is an easy, useful home training aid. It helps.
ОтветитьI love my Springfield xd's both eare my edc,I'm a legal firearm owner have my CCW IN CORRUPTIFORNIA..Believe THAT. HAHA.practice and safety all the time .I would love to be firearms instructor.
ОтветитьGood stuff, shared this with some friends.
ОтветитьThank you for sharing. Be safe.😊
ОтветитьGreat Video. “Come run my camera for me”. lol 😂
ОтветитьYour presentation is just something to behold. No nonsense, and good grief if somebody can’t learn anything from it then apparently they know everything.(🙄)
