Life hack - to be consistent in trading, then pick something not trading related and see how consistent you are on that task or item in your daily activity. If its eating a bagel every day at 10am, then make it that. See how consistent you can be on eating that bagel. Something as simple as that to train the brain.

59k loss here 50k loss there.😂😂😂😅 yeah right.

In the last 3 days I took 49 trades with only 3 losses. My biggest reason for that is no FOMO rule (I don’t chase the market, if market is dumping and I’m not in that trade I wait and react after the move and traps happen) and stop trading at by lunch NY time. I let the market come to me and my levels. Usually my trades are preset ahead of time (80-90% of the time). I also follow Adam Mancini news letter for ES levels it’s only $20 per month and he is shockingly accurate. His twitter X acct is free but the news letter is much more detailed. ES is one of the cleanest markets to trade in my opinion. NQ is good but if you are wrong on your trade your loss can be large due to the big and fast movements. ES is less anxiety when trading.

Thank for this interview B. Seriously, I have learnt so much. We shouldn't force the market to work the way we want. I also have a journal but I lost control and lost $60 from my little $100 account because I felt making $10 a day was my target but it was not enough so I entered the market and kept entering a loosing trade, without risk management. I'll work on my risk management from now on

the problem that I have with day trading is that if spend most of my time protecting myself from big lossess and minimizing risks on the other side I am not profitable and miss out on opportunities. that's wht I switched my focus on investing

Thanks for the video. I finally established a way to increase my net income per month.
My 2024 goal is to pay off the house by Sept 2024 (8 years total into a 30 year @ 4%). I have no debt other than mortgage. My 401k, HSA, IRA and emergency funds get maxed out. The mortgage is my last piece of debt left. I don't have any school loan or CC debt. I've made a lot of sacrifices over the years.

Dude. This is the best interview you've done so far...for me. This weekend I took time off from my mental routine of meditation, fitness, yoga, and other voodoo. It bit me so hard in the ass today. Thanks for the reminder.

Totally relatable...

I started with a $50k account, and after several months found myself hovering around break-even, then I began to focus on consistency and found I could generate $500-1k/day most green days using options without risking a lot of size.

But as many know, the quick gains on options are seductive and I began using too much size and saw both my wins and losses swinging in the $5-8k range - which is way too much for my size of account and being still less than a year into trading. I managed to stay around break-even, but recently took the largest draw down I've had (about $15k). Like the interviewee, I am on a reset, scaling way down on size and focusing on small consistent gains and managing risk appropriately.

Even though the outsized gains are there to be had, it's simply not a sustainable habit to over leverage yourself for any reason.
