I will not include this price into the price of the house since the objective was to showcase the home itself and not the land. This is a video showcasing what the builder can build if you already own your land, or plan on building on land you anticipate to purchase.

Land is extremely variable, depending on size, location, and amenities, it can be as affordable as $10k to as much as $100k+!

So you can think of it like this, $280k + the value of land you want to purchase. It will be up to you to determine how much further out you are willing to stretch your budget when it comes to the land. Ideally, a nice sized lot/land is $40k+, I’d start there.

Why does all the 3 bedroom homes look way more awesome than the 4/5 bedrooms??!

Beautful!! Looks like a small version of a castle. Just stunning!! Wish the builder would buy a huge amount of land and build similar houses to this in the Hockley/Cypress area so I don't have to buy any land but I get it. At the current moment, it's unaffordable for me when you add any cost of land.
I will keep this builder in mind in the future. Great job at the price of the house though, so beautful!

This guy is so full of crap. You CANNOT get this house built anywhere in Texas for under 450k, even out in the middle of the nowhere. I've been working with every major residential builder in Central Texas since 2006. This house would cost at least 600k on the smallest lot possible in a mediocre part of any decent-sized town, and north of 750k in a desirable area. But go ahead and give him a call, just know the listings you actually get will be nowhere close to a deal this good.

Is it realistic to have this home built for 280K I live in Rior rancho NM and like this design I have the land, I want to stay 350k or less if all possible that includes Solar and well. I have an acre of land paid for, Ideally 2 master suits and maybe one or two guest rooms ?

Be sure to check their BBB rating. “F”. Do not hire this business. Doesn’t follow contract. Took two years to build. Way over budget. Got the final check and ran. Never heard from him to fix the many problems. Won’t provide the warranty that he is supposed to provide.
There are other builders. Find someone who is reputable. Keep looking.

Where in the Rio Grande are you going to work to afford the $2400 per month mortgage? Holiday Inn Express? Some correctional facility? The local taqueria?

It's a great value for the money considering it's possibly in South texas, and it's at least on a acre that works out the improvement value... not a fan of the kitchen layout though.
