Having done something very similar I can tell you that years later when you are sitting at home and relaxing and you look around and realize you physically touched every square inch of your home every nail every screw from the floor to the roof it just hits a little harder that this is your home you literally built it with your own hands congratulations on the journey

Go Jenna! Go Nicki! Very glad to have found this channel as early as I did. My wife and I love waking up on a Wednesday and we both go, "Its time for the roof video!" or "I hope they do the concrete stairs soon" this has become part of our day to day conversations now.

I can honestly say I know exactly how you feel. We are near the end of a 2 year gut renovation of a 5,000 sq ft, 1971, solid brick, 2-storey home. It’s satisfying to see the end result and know that we had a big part in this. We hired out a lot of the trades but we did a lot as well. Hauling about 1 ton of concrete through a basement window into a trailer was probably about the hardest physical work. Having to take out another $100,000 from savings knowing that you are no where near being complete is the most mentally challenging. Then, because of certain circumstances we had to live in the house for most of it. It was frustrating beyond belief.

You’ll get through this. You should be really proud of yourselves.

I started watching Jenna & Nicki building their dream home after seeing Jenna in a different video! Since then I've been hooked! Wow!!!! Heh!!!!! You 2 complete each other & I can't wait to see what else you have to show us.

Oh, my God—I love this. What an outstanding presentation of the story. I cried!!! The story is so beautiful, and Jenna and Nick are the BEST. They deserve an award for how to have a relationship, even during a stressful renovation. I've watched from Day One, and it's 1000 times better than watching a "reality" renovation show. This is reality!!! Love you, Jenna and Nick!!!!

I shared some of your videos (back when you were knitting) with my sis…then when you and Nick began working on your home - and she enjoyed your content in both videos.

Now, she keeps up with your progress as much as I do; AND we just talked about how much we enjoy your videos, and how you’ve gained so many viewers! We’re happy for you both, and we adore you❤ congrats on the recognition!

This is not Jenna’s style and lacking in integrity and her usual individuality. A bit too smaltzy for my taste. I guess it is aimed at a US market and not the rest of us, they seem to love that generic, over produced stuff. See something they like and want to take it for themselves. I stick with the original channel, for now.

My wife put me on to your channel, and I have not stopped watching. I love what you are doing and look forward to seeing how far you have move on in the build, keep going.
