Berlin: inside out


Series of Acts staging an Environmental dislocation of intimate domestic activities to open environments and recreating private moments, which highly exposes the individual in public.
By doing that the artist is breaking the boundaries between the personal and the public spheres, bringing the intimate to the most impersonal environs, reinterpreting the term "exposure" and what does it mean to be exposed, exploring what is the psychological inhibitions in the feeling of being exposed and where it expires...

Berlin is the location intentionally chosen for the project, and is inherent for the creation of the work through it's context. The city in it's contemporary form is perhaps a place where public and personal spheres are less separated than other places. So that the act examines the Berlin sphere and what it allows by stretching the limits within this special urban environment or term of the evolving yet under-constructed city.

The KITCHEN - relocation of daily activities


In some countries and cultures the kitchen is the
heart of the house. A lot of the daily activities
happens there; people cook, people eat, people gather, drink, tell stories, take a break... some of the activities are more private than others.
Different cultures and different people have different approaches towards eating and cooking. The approach toward food and kitchen is very individual and can reflect a person's personality and approach to life. Some are more
welcoming and willing to share their meals and some see it as a private.

Taking a kitchen outside to the street, does not only mean eating and cooking outside, but taking a part of a person's individuality outwards as well.
